The hotel is in the ideal location in Westend of Washington DC. The staff was super friendly, helpful and check-in went super quick. I had a great city view. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

What a pleasant stay! Super convenient and lovely location. The staff was very welcoming and seemed to genuinely care about guests' experience at the hotel. The room was spotless and comfortable. I did find the bathroom a bit cramped, bit it couldn't have been any cleaner, which matters more to me. The bed and bedding were comfortable and my room (504) was extremely quiet.
The room was updated and seemed "fresh." Overall, just a great spot to stay while I was in town on business.

This hotel doesn't technically have parking. There is a nearby public lot about a block away under the Ritz Carlton hotel. It worked out fine and when we stayed, there was space but if there's a party in the ballroom or other function at the Ritz, there will not be any parking that the West End hotel controls. Also unless you are a Gold or Diamond Hilton Honors member there is no complementary bottled water. There is a water dispenser in the lobby where you can fill your own containers. The hotel is clean and well kept otherwise.

Don't stay here if you are on a work trip and need to sleep. There is a bar in the hotel with a patio that plays music and is full of loud patrons until after midnight. The hotel has zero sound isolation. Also, diamond members get an $18/ credit but then they charge you $10 for a bottle of water. The hotel is in a good location but there are better options.

Booked this hotel to attend my son's graduation at Georgetown as it was close by and the description sounded like an interesting property. It was sold as a boutique hotel. It turns out it is anything but a boutique hotel. The rooms are tiny. Airconditioning did not lower the temperature below 72 regardless of where it was set. Fridge kept freezing everything and there was no way to control the temperature. The TV was mounted so that it could only be watched from one bed but not the bed next to it! The sink in the bathroom(which was tiny) could not be fully utilized with the door open as the door blocked half of the sink area. Some areas of the ceiling were patched and painted a different color than the rest. Difficult to sleep as there was a lot of noise from a Cuban night club which shares the hotel property. Breakfast was a joke. It was in the basement where the Cuban club was and they used the bar area to put the food on. Hot food was a MICROWAVED turkey sausage patty and egg and tasted like plastic. They had muffins, bagels and oatmeal. No orange juice and awful coffee. The only positive thing was the lady that worked the breakfast who tried very hard to please people. The front desk people were either really nice or completely useless. Perhaps what best describes my frustration was that when I checked in, I was told that they would not clean my room unless I asked. So on the second day, at 730am, I did ask. The response floored me. The front desk stated that they would try but could not guarantee it because they had too many rooms to clean. I returned at 3pm and of course it wasn't cleaned and everybody in housekeeping had left. CRAZY! They did leave towels. Would never stay here again as it was not that cheap either. Hilton better reflect on what they are doing with their properties as this will certainly take down their brand

Extreme noise until 3 am, then from 7am. Loud, inefficient a/c.
Impossible to sleep. Facing full concrete wall, ie looks a grey all day.
Rooms are not being cleaned during the stay
Not possible to change rooms
I truly overpaid for my stay, it should have been disclosure on location

Avoid This Hotel at All Costs
My recent stay at The Tapestry Collection by Hilton West End Washington was a disaster. We were assigned a room on the 1st floor without any warning about the nightclub located in the basement. The loud music from the club persisted past midnight, making it impossible for us to sleep. It felt as if there was a live band right under our beds.
This experience was incredibly deceiving as there was no disclosure about the nightclub's noise levels on the hotel's website. Adding to the disappointment, the hotel staff lied to me at check-in when I requested a higher floor room. They claimed the only room available, yet the hotel's website showed there were still rooms available for reservation.
This has been the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I strongly advise against staying here. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this hotel at all costs.

I booked two rooms (one for me and my husband and one for my two teen daughters). The girls’ room was fine but my room was dirty. There were greasy food crumbs covering the desk chair and someone’s dirty socks under the couch. There was no housekeeping during our 4-night stay. No new towels or washcloths, no one to empty the trash bins or replace the tiny hand soap. Nothing. When we checked in we were offered one water bottle per room. When I explained that we had 4 guests and needed 4 waters the man at the check in desk said no, we only got one per room. When my kids ran out of toilet paper in their room and called down to the desk for more they were told to come down and get it themselves. It was truly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Hotel lodgings when traveling should be comfortable, clean & fresh so you can rest & sleep for your planned events for the week. Staff service should also be pleasant, accommodating. Expectations of a pleasant stay at this Hilton Tapestry on New Hampshire Avenue NW was a great disappointment. Even as pandemic travel has improved and with less restrictions at hotels, there are no excuses for shabby services and the lack of courtesy and amenities. In all fairness, this Hilton provides less than the bare minimum. There is a high disregard for the traveler and one feels you’ve intruded into the working lives of staff who are using desktops to shop online or are laser focused on their screens for whatever reason. But as you enter or stand at the front desk, waiting for acknowledgement of your arrival, isn’t it good practice to greet your customer? Hilton emailed me several times, to suggest I can avoid the front desk by loading Hilton Honors app and enter my room via my smartphone but it doesn’t work! Too bad, because staff interaction is abysmal. The parking garage is at the Ritz Carlton “around there over at 22nd Street NW” but you have to use yet another app SpotHero to get to said garage. There are no day passes for the Equinox gym even when you show the staff it’s on your reservation confirmation page. They’re clearly puzzled and so am I. My King Suite included a foldout sofa bed but that wasn’t there either. I was instructed to go to the lobby to get some coffee pods, shampoo, soap and towels (bring your own bag to carry back upstairs). I was advised there’s coffee in the lobby early in the morning. In reality, to get a cup of coffee, go to the basement. The room apparently shares space with the nightclub bar that closed a few hours earlier - so don’t mind the mops, brooms and sticky counter tops, as you walk underground. I wish I could say some redeeming qualities about this Hilton but I saw too many multiple negative reviews on websites. It’s unfortunate that the manager’s useless responses to the same repeated complaints in the hotel for the last few years, seem to have never been remedied. Maybe the kindly, sweet food workers in the basement should be commended. These women had the loveliest smiles and demeanors. The only ones in this entire hotel.

It took multiple check in attempts to secure a room. The first room was next to a bar, so it was very loud. I asked for another immediately. I was sent to a room for which the key did not work. Then I was sent to a room number that was not a hotel room but a cleaning supply closet. Then I finally got a room. Every time I had an issue I had to return to the front desk, where the staff seemed unprepared. Ultimately the folio came with a different price than I had been quoted at billing and the staff couldn’t comprehend that either. Most notably, though, is that the hotel is not accessible. Getting in the door requires moving bags (and mobility restricted people) up several steps.
