While it was business that brought my husband and me to DC, staying at this guest house turned it into a pleasurable home away from home couples retreat! This is not your ordinary hotel; it is extraordinary in every way. All of the staff are extremely friendly and strive to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The...

It was like coming home and seeing old friends. The owners Raymond and Laura were so nice and so accommodating. It was our fist trip to DC and hopefully not our last and when we return we will definitely be staying here. It was a pleasure. The accommodation is beautifully restored, the rooms well appointed, and the bed divine. Raymond...

This was our first B &B ever. What a wonderful, joyful experience! Unlike in most hotels we've stayed in, fellow guests were eager to introduce themselves and spend the time to get acquainted. We stayed six nights while visiting our son and are already plotting our next visit. Situated just a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of...

Wonderful, courteous, helpful, friendly, all in a beautifully restored former embassy in a great locatiom. Large, well decorated, quiet rooms immaculately clean. The owners served as host and hostess throughout the day making sure guests met in a non-intrusive and inclusive manner. Highly recommended.

We don't normally look to interact with other guests when staying in a hotel or B&B. Our hosts helped us overcome this urge at the Embassy Circle Guest House. During wine hour they introduced us to all of the other guests by name, and the result was a surprisingly interesting conversation that allowed the sharing of many perspectives from around...

We really enjoyed our stay. Laura & Raymond are warm and welcoming. The other guests were interesting to speak with each morning and in the evenings over wine and appetizers in the living room. Breakfast was delicious. Each room is surprisingly quiet (we heard not a peep from any other room). Each room had its own private fully-equipped bathroom. We...

If you enjoy a family environment [where every guest becomes your family], then Embassy Circle is the place for you. The breakfast and evening wine chatter is so relaxing. On our recent visit during breakfast, the inn keeeper--Laura--asked everyone what they were doing for the day. When it came to me, I said that we were going to the Newseum....

We stayed at Embassy Circle Guest House for a week and had a fantastic time! Laura and Raymond are two of the friendliest people who took care of our every need. The breakfasts were amazing and it was really lovely having drinks in the evening with everyone before going off for dinner. Being so close to Dupont Circle gave us...

We had a wonderful time at Embassy Circle Guest House. The home itself was beautiful, yet homey, and immaculate. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and greeted each day with a delicious breakfast and very interesting conversation. The owners, Laura and Raymond, made sure our every need was met. We will go back in a heartbeat!
