Initially we booked through Interval World for the Newseum on Pennsylvania AV about 4 months before our departure date. 72 hours before our flight from LAX we receive a "Unwelcome" letter advising us we had been relocated to The Woodward. Based on other commentary here I guess we should be thankful we didn't show up early evening Saturday of a...

This has more to do with Bridgestreet Global Hospitality than with the property itself. Three couples booked 3 units at City Center in Washington DC. Two couples arrived on April 7th to find that one had a room and the other was changed to another location 6 blocks away (Woodward) No advance warning/explanation of this change. The other party arrived...

I had a great stay in the Woodward Building. Rooms were spacious and clean. The amenities in the room were similar to a hotel. You can't beat the location and the price. The staff was friendly, and communicative. Great find!!

I was travelling on business and my wife came along for a leisure trip, which I was able to join her for over the weekend. We chose the Woodward Building due to its proximity to the White House and the Washington Mall and we were not disappointed! We really didn't expect the roof terrace to provide such a fantastic view...

Great location, just up the road from the Whitehouse. Good supermarkets only a short walk away. Accommodation was perfect. Well maintained, very clean, good comfy beds and pillows, great heating and a washer and dryer as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our very short 3 day stay in beautiful Washington DC - this accomm gave us a welcome respite from the smaller...

So, I'm a pretty positive person, and generally tend to think of negative reviews I read as one-offs. Before booking with BridgeStreet at the Woodward building (through AirBnB), I read the reviews, and thought: 'that won't happen to us'. How naive!! We were arriving on the Monday, and despite a confirmation email on the previous Friday, and despite a confirmation...

If it were not for the outstanding location I could never recommend this place. Woodward apartments was convenient to most everything - just two blocks from The White House - but the primary and the pull-out beds were completely unacceptable, in fact, terrible. Also, the street noise was so bad I urge all light sleepers to stay away. And we...

the woodward building has an excellent location ! and the apartments are remodel with all the amenities needed to have a relax self catered stay. The only issue was the street noise such as ambulance sirens. It did help to use earplugs. I do recommended but perhaps stay away from main street side.

I booked the Woodward through Expedia - I did not stay at the Woodward. You see, the company that manages the Woodward apartment building manages several other apartment buildings that all specialize in long-term rentals. When a current tenant decides to extend their stay in the room you are supposed to be in, you are moved from that building to...

We rented a two bedroom apartment for six nights. The apartment was ready for our early arrival. I worried after other reviews but our reservation went smoothly. We did get online confirmation before we left home. We were more than pleased with the space. It was clean, nice linens, comfortable beds. It is a furnished apartment . There is a...
