Hotel was lovely. Very well decorated and lovely amenities. We arrived very late on a Friday night and the check in was seamless and fast. We were offered some tea or water upon our arrival. Actually bottles of water were constantly being offered throughout our stay. The concierge was able to get us tickets to the National Museum of African...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I had the recent pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Oriental, attending a conference it was hosting. I have previously stayed at its Las Vegas and Boston establishments. Check-in was efficient and very friendly, with the employee taking the trouble to accompany me to the lift. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast choice was very good. All the housekeeping staff...

Dear haydndavies2016, Thank you very much for your five star review of Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC. We couldn't agree with you more: its the genuine care and concern of our colleagues that really distinguishes the Mandarin Oriental experience. Of course, our location is great, too, and I would add that an even shorter walk in the other direction will take...

The front desk service far exceeded our expectations and they were extremely helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our group's needs. The room was also nicely decorated and clean. We were very disappointed by the staff at both the spa and restaurant as they were quite unwelcoming and actually encouraged us not to use their facilities stating...

We stayed at the Mandarin over the weekend for a quick trip to see the museums and the cherry blossoms. While the hotel and the majority of its stay are wonderful and I would recommend the hotel to anyone the club experience lacked. The food was not filled in a timely manner. Sometimes during the breakfast and wine and cheese...

The staff was great but the hotel was just okay for the price. The rooms are definitely not sound proof, you could hear every noise in the hallway. The location was perfect if you are touring the monuments. Nothing especially unique about the hotel itself. A little disappointing at such a large price

The hotel is a typical "boutique style" kind of a hotel, beautifully done rooms and bathrooms, ironing is complimentary depending on the rate you're booked in-beautiful hotel, very well positioned as well, It is next to a lot of tourist attraction arrears like the White House, African American museum etc.If your budget allows -go for it

Nice location to stay for cherry blossom festival in Washington. Dental kit has been provided by request. Slippers have been placed in room. Entire staff is friendly. Facility is quite old. Only one restaurant in hotel, plus a lounge. We will try Spa service next time.

I enjoyed the 4-hour (yes. 4 hours!) Revitalizing Ritual, which includes an 80 minute massage, 80 minute facial and a classic pedicure and manicure. It was a birthday treat, and everything--from check in, facility walk-through, amenities (sauna and relaxation room among them), to staff knowledge, service and recommendations--was pitch perfect from start to finish. I was so relaxed and de-stressed,...

All aspects of this hotel are perfect. It is not overly sophisticated but the entire staff is friendly, caring and anxious to serve. The rooms are delightful and spotlessly clean. Food is delicious. Beautiful spa and nice workout facilities and indoor pool. Lovely private garden attached to the cocktail lounge. Mandarins never disappoint.
