OMG what can we say? As we are first time visitors to DC we were unaware of this hotel as it was chosen by our travel agent. The priority was location. O boy does it have a good location!!! Five minutes from the White House and rest of the DC attractions are within easy walking distance. Rooms were fantastic and...

Came here for a 7 day stay in washington dc as part of a US holiday and found the experience fantastic. The location is the best you would find and the rooms are great. While i was staying there a nerve in my tooth became infected. The concierges were fantastic and within 30min of going to see them i was...

First, I have to start off by saying I am a very, very particular hotel guest. So, take my review with that in mind. My husband and I recently stayed at the Hotel Scribe (a Sofitel hotel in Paris) and loved it - so we thought we would stay at the Washington DC version in hopes our experience would be...

I was solo to DC for the Memorial Day weekend to visit family and chose the Sofitel for its smaller size and location close to The Whitehouse. It was terrific. The room had blackout curtains that closed tight so no early morning light, very comfortable bed and sheets, well appointed bathroom and wonderfully quiet. The staff, and particulariy the welcome...

Had experienced Sofitel hospitality in Vietnam and Cambodia so decided to book five nights when visiting Washington. The hotel was very convenient for the Metro and The Mall. Rooms a little small but clean and comfortable. We had a view of interior walls but were not in our room much during the day. The only complaint we had was the...

My wife and I spent six nights at the Sofitel before the Memorial Day weekend. We arrived late in the evening and were given a small room with a small closet. The next morning the front desk changed our room to a much larger room with a larger closet. The staff at the hotel was outstanding. The housekeeping staff went...

Loved the hotel. We got to DC about six hours before hotel check-in, and were surprised to not only get an extra, extra early check-in, but also got a complimentary upgrade (just so happened, they had a no-show on a junior suite the night before our stay, so that's why the room was ready at 9:30am). The hotel staff was...

The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were cozy and clean, the bed and pillows (super important) were very comfortable and I slept in, which I never do! Every night, they brought by water (for free, can you believe it?!) and ordered a Keurig for our room (free!). The concierge was helpful and honest, assisting us to get to BWI...

We stayed at the Sofitel over Memorial Day weekend. The room was very spacious with a large bathroom. I hadn't been to Washington in 15 years. The hotel is classy, intimate and cozy. The outdoor patio was lovely for breakfast and the bar was tastefully decorated and very romantic for a drink and a light bite. The location is amazing!...

I stayed at the Sofitel for only one night - after a wedding weekend nearby - for a quick day of playing 'tourist!' I purchased my room on Hotwire and got an excellent price for this lovely hotel. My room was quite large - two queen beds - large desk, flat-screen tv, chair and really nice bathroom! My husband is...
