We had two rooms for our family before Christmas and really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We found the room layout very nice, with the bathroom tucked around the corner. The rooms were stylish, modern and clean. We were lucky to be facing out to the street. The only

The location of the hotel is very nice and the bed is extremely comfortable. The hotel has no much facilities though. It is very near to the White House and other places to see in Washington, DC When there, check up Old Ebbit Grill, which is the oldest steak restaurant in DC

What is your breakfast buffet
Hello Cynthia B, thank you for asking. There are three different options for breakfast here at Sofitel DC, we have a la carte menu at Opaline Brasserie in the main lobby, a Grab and Go lighter breakfast option at the Opaline Bar also located in the main lobby and a great in room option through room service if you wish to pamper yourself with breakfast in bed. Enjoy!

How much is parking?
Hi Courtney, it looks like we paid $25 per day. Pretty high I consider, but it was worth it. It is too hard to find a place to park on weekdays. You left the car at the hotel and took ubber or lift everywhere else.

Where are you supposed to park?
Parking in the streets is impossible. Hotels parking are $50-60. That’s why we took the bus from NYC and Ubered it in Washington DC.

How close is the African American Museim
The Museum is on 14th Street, same as the Willard. It is technically 2 blocks, but one of those is a very long block! Maybe a 10 minute walk.
