Our room was clean, bedding was comfortable and it was one of the cheapest places in DC. We were even upgraded to a queen sized bed without asking. We also had an awesome view from our room. Dupont Circle is an interesting area. We walked about 30 minutes from here to the Lincoln Memorial.

Very pleasantly surprised with our experience at the Baron. When you're in DC you're not there to sit in your room. You need a place to sleep that is close to the sights and easy to get to. Lots is of dining and shopping variety within a few block's walk of this hotel. We rolled in Saturday night and found...

Pros: Clean, Good location,Good Wifi, Good value Cons: Loud A/C and bathroom fan, Stairs at entrance - not suitable for those with a disability, prams or heavy luggage. Despite reading some bad reviews, I decided to proceed with booking The Baron anyway, for 2 reasons: 1) I was not too concerned about the issues noted, and 2) there was a...

The people here are very friendly. We were there for a show and it was so convenient to stay there as well. The room was a basic room but was very comfy, and those beds were just WOW. The bartenders are amazing and recommended an excellent pizza place just a couple of blocks up. We are in DC frequently for...

I wanted a low-cost and clean hotel near Dupont Circle. I was amazed when I found this one! The location is easy walking distance from the Metro. The front desk clerks were super nice and helpful. The room was small, but spotless (as was the bathroom). I checked in and took a short nap. Good thing I did, because when...

Great location, great bar/tavern below hotel, parking is a major issue and room had bad odor but was decent and comfortable bed. Close to dupont circle and a good value but parking is very troublesom. Hotel has no parking and street parking is ample but you cant park on the street between 4pm-630pm M-F. We had to pay to park...

I stayed in this hotel in July 2015 for 2 nights and it absolutely was a bad choice. The only thing I like about the hotel is its location, the bar underground and the staff. Where shall I begin? The rooms are so small and make me feel claustrophobic. They have the most olds hook type of ventilation system with...

This was one of the worst places I have ever experienced. The room had a soggy wet carpet with bugs in it. The beds were uncomfortable. The room smelled moldy. The staff were unfriendly. To enter the building you have to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke from the people going to bar downstairs. The whole lobby smelled like...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights arriving the 14th of June 2015. At first I was very sceptical to stay here based on the reviews, but with the great price for the location I decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised. We arived at 6am in Washington DC after an 18 hour international flight....
