Recommend this hotel highly, it really is a terrific hotel with a great location! I was visiting to celebrate my daughter's 21 and my sister's birthday! What a special place to celebrate. We could not have been more pleased with the service. Special shout out to Joseph who went above and beyond really made our stay special! The rooms were lovely! I also had my foster daughter who is 19 months and my 92 year old mom celebrating with us and they could not have had a nicer time. the ritz carlton always makes the kids feel welcome especially at this dc location! Great music at the bar and had a nice breakfast in the morning!
good service, pretty standard Ritz but just clean/nice and what you would expect (paying what one does at a Ritz). The restaurant was great for breakfast, and it's a nice neighborhood to walk around in.
From the minute you arrive to departure, the staff and service was phenomenal. They aim to please. Great room. Walkable/Runnable to everything including White House, George and Abe. Relaxing ahead of a busy week of a conference.
I very much enjoyed my recent stay at this hotel. Very nicely-decorated, nice materials, spacious, very comfortable, quiet bedroom and nice bed. Helpful and friendly receptionist. Nice bar areas downstairs with a nice buzz. Shame I did not stay longer to enjoy it more and to use more the facilities. A bit in between Georgetown and the Mall but walkable to Georgetown. No complains.
I stayed in a room with a King bed for 2 nights during a business trip. The room was large, luxurious and very quiet -- I could not hear any noise from the busy street below or from the hallway. The marble bathroom is large and had both a stall shower and a separate bathtub. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I also appreciated the extra touches -- water bottles throughout the room, thick bathrobes, plentiful toiletries and chocolates delivered with the nightly turn down. My only complaint was the lack of power outlets near the work desk.
The service is friendly and excellent. My computer mouse was not working well when I tried to use it directly on the work desk, so I re-purposed a room service menu as a mouse pad. When the maid who came to do the turn down service noticed this, she replaced the menu with a real mouse pad. Now that's service!
