Stayed at the Hilton over the July 4th week. Check-in was a breeze. The place always smells so fresh and clean, because it is. The location is close the White House and central to many activities for sightseeing without have to get into a lot of traffic. There is a restaurant close by called the Hamilton that is a must (We...

I've never been disappointed by any Hilton hotel. This one is very well situated in WashIngton DC. The area is full of restaurants and very safe. The beds are very comfortable. I will go back for another business stay with my coworkers who joined me there. I didn't try the breakfast.

We have stayed many times in this conveniently located hotel when visiting DC. They always do a great job from check in to check out. The staff is very friendly and they take care of the little things like offering you a bottle of water before heading out on a walk or making towels available in the mornings outside the...

Such a great overall hotel; reasonably priced for its downtown location, service was remarkable, staff so friendly & helpful, and my 11th floor king bed room was so comfortable. I don't have a single complaint, so completely satisfied with my 3 day stay. I understand the pool is extremely small but we were so busy each day, didn't have time...

Not only was our trip to Washington DC wonderful, we loved the Hilton! The breakfast in the morning was filling and delicious. We had a room with two double beds which was great for two people. The view from our room was incredible! Staff was friendly and welcoming. This hotel is also very close to most of the sightseeing buildings....

This was our first time in Washington and this hotel turned out to be perfect. Directly across the road from McPhearson Sq metro station, 3 mins walk from the Whitehouse, 10 mins from memorial park. The rooms were clean, spacious, cool and very quiet....you can't ask for much more.

As we arrived our 10 year old was getting car sick. The staff responded quickly with towels, trash bags, and windex to help us clean up the car. I was very impressed. Front desk were very helpful and pleasant. Room was very nice and location was great, about 4 blocks from our trolley stop. Would definitely stay there again.

The location was good, easy access from the Metro. There's lots of restaurants and grocery stores in the area. The patio bar was nice. The room (standard king) was pretty spacious and had a fridge. The staff were ok.

I was there for an event at the Ball Park, and chose the HGI due to location. The hotel is in a great location for sightseeing around DC. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a room on the street, and even with construction right in front of the hotel, the room was very quiet. Overall, a great stay.
