The Fairmont is clustered together with the Park Hyatt and Westin hotels just across the bridge from Georgetown proper. The rooms are modern and fairly large, some with interesting views over Georgetown and Washington's skyline. The service is first class and if you're a Presidents Club member there is free wifi and a special check in line at registration. Rooms...

I stayed at the Fairmont for 4 nights in November. I expect excellent service and the staff and hotel to go that extra mile in a five star hotel. But that wasn't the case here. I could have been staying anywhere in terms of the rooms. Yes, they were ok, but nothing special. The food was ok but extremely expensive....

My wife and I have just returned from the Fairmont DC Georgetown, our second visit, this time deciding to stay on the 9th floor, which is their Gold Floor. From the time of getting off the elevator on 9, to be greeted by name at the Gold check in desk, until checking out 7 days later, the level of service...

I stayed here for a 2-day business trip, my second consecutive year in this hotel. The staff is excellent - they are so quick to hold a door and everyone from the housekeepers to the folks at the front desk are quick with a good morning. I want to single out the lovely Ariane (hope I'm spelling that correctly). Very...

I was assigned a spacious room with good sound insulation. Furnishings are traditional, bed pillows need replacing and the tub has not been converted to a walk-in shower. Otherwise, as expected.
