Nothing spectacular and no major flops either. Room was clean. Location is decent, close to the red subway line. Had breakfast at the hotel buffet, mediocre at best. You can probably do better if you go to the next door market and get take out, which by the way, also has a pretty good salad buffet for lunch.

The Hilton Garden Inn Washington, DC/U.S. Capitol is one if not the best Garden Inn I have experienced. We were in town for the Cherry Blossom Festival and even though the staff faced a mob scene every day, they still took the time to give us directions, suggestions on where to go and eat, etc. My only complaint that the...

Unfortunately, I got stuck in Washington during Snowstorm Jonas. However, the Hilton Garden Inn made the best of the situation and provided excellent service. The staff was staying with us in the hotel during the snow storm and made every effort to make us as comfortable as possible during the time we were snowed in. They also gave us updates...

Stayed here for a small conference. Everyone on the staff was wonderful, from the front desk, the housekeepers to thewait staff. No bathtub (showers only) but nice, new rooms. Very quiet. Close to the red line and Union Station, ATF and DOJ.

The folks at this property were very nice. The rooms are large and comfortable. The property was quiet. My only criticisms were that the bed was quite hard and the only in-hotel breakfast option was a $15.99 buffet, which is a little pricey for someone who only wants a bagel, yogurt and coffee!

This must be a fairly new hotel as the furnishings have little wear and the bathrooms are very modern. It was spacious and had good amenities: safe, coffee maker and fridge in every room. My bath had no tub, but a spacious shower enclosure. Once I got in the shower I was disappointed by poor water pressure--or a low-flow shower...

Beds were creaky and hard. Parking was to expensive. Not great place not terrible place. Just okay. Close to Union Station. Not many good places to eat without a metro ride. Staff was very friendly. They were the best part.

The warm and friendly reception I received made me ask myself "do I know these people?". It was great to be made to feel so welcomed. This lasted throughout my stay. The staff was very accommodating. The hotel itself was fine. It was recently refreshed and felt current. Good place to stay for the price.

My wife and I were in DC for the cherry blossoms. We chose this hotel because I am a Hilton Hhoners member. The staff was very friendly and helpfully when we checked in. We got to the hotel a little early and our room was not ready so the upgraded us to a Jr. Suite. The room they gave us...

The location of this Hotel was very close to the meetings I was in DC to attend. Also, a pleasant walk (maybe 1 mile) to the Capitol and Senate office buildings and Union Station. There was a very good breakfast buffet and cook-to-order omelet station, which was quite efficient.
