I was charged $260 for a room, two separate charges that I didn't authorize. They "couldn't explain" the second charge and had no answer. When we showed up to check in they didn't have my reservation, yet I had the confirmation and a print out of my room confirmation. They said sorry that they were booked completely. Finally gave me...

Dear Baltimore 90, Thank you for taking the time to contact us in regards to your recent stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington, DC/Downtown. It was a pleasure to speak with you yesterday. After speaking with you, I researched this incident further. The confusion with the reservation came from an incorrect spelling of your last name when the...

We chose this hotel at a last minute while on n a whirlwind touristy DC tour from NYC. The hotel fulfilled the purpose of providing a economical stay on a wonderful trip. The rooms are small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast had nothing to write home about.

Stayed here while attending a game at the Verizon Center. Its a great location for games. Its also a great location for sightseeing and exploring the national mall. I found it to be cheap by DC standards. Clean spacious rooms with free breakfast. Curious and polite front desk. Its what I expect from a Fairfield Inn. Will look to stay...

Had a meeting near this hotel at a venue used yearly for the past few years. However this property is a relatively new one. I was really impressed even on walking in the door at what a nice (but not overly upscale) renovation has been done. Check-in service was exceptional - very polite and informative. Lobby and common areas are...

We had a wedding at a venue one block form the hotel. I took out 30 rooms at this terrific hotel. The rooms were clean and top notch. The breakfast was good. And most important the staff was great to deal with. David Ohmann, the sales manager was my contact. He was an absolute delight to deal with.

This hotel has a great location, good price to have the Washington Mall attractions just some blocks away, specially the Smithsonian Natural History museum. The Chinatown stores around the hotel give a good feeling. The famous arch is located just 1 block. Also the Verizon Center is located next block just to watch NBA games, and a nice Gallery with a...

This hotel totally met our expectations in all ways except for the slow WiFi. The location, in the Chinatown area near Verizon Center, was perfect for 2 night stay in DC. There are plenty of restaurants a short walk away and you can walk to almost all of the museums and Capitol Building area. We took cabs at $8 per...

I stayed here in late December for a vacation to visit our nation's capital. The staff was very friendly and took care of our needs. The rooms were well kept and clean. The breakfast was what you would expect from a Marriott Hotel (breakfast meat--sausage or bacon, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, make your own waffle, toast/bagels, pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and...

We got to this spot because we needed a room for a couple of nights in DC and they had one of the best rates. I expected a room by the elevator at the rate we got but the room was very good, nicely decorated. Staff was very attentive and the hotel was very quiet (sometimes hard to find in...

The hotel was within a few minutes walk to Verizon Center and the metro. It was modern, clean, and our room (524) was very nicely appointed with fridge, microwave, and separate seating area. Despite a corner room on 2 busy streets the street noise was minimal. Complaints: Breakfast was the normal inedible "complimentary" breakfast typically found: Powdered eggs, rubbery "meat,"...
