There is a lot of construction noise from early morning at Eldon Luxury Suites. If you don't mind being wakened by loud banging, steel work clattering and cement mixers emptying their load, this could be the place for you. We didn't book directly through the Eldon Suites and were given no information on the works going on. We didn't get... More

Beautiful hotel! I was a little nervous as we approached it because it is on a back street and had a lot of construction around it. Once we got inside it turned out to be very nice. The room was very spacious and comfortable. My only complaint is the floors were really cold.

The room was very spacious, with its own kitchen and living room. Everything in the room looked very nice and clean. Walking distance (5 minutes) to the Metro. Staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay there if I'm back at DC.

Stayed from 11/8-11/12/2016. Hotel was really great. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Within walking distance to the Metro and a lot of attractions. Rooms were spacious and bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were modern but the couch and chair in the living room were a little outdated. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it. Construction was going on right... More

The location is great and the room was perfect and the staff was really attentive. My problems are as follows: 1. The construction outside is very noisy. I probably had the best room in the building - top floor - other side of building - and it still woke me up. This should be made clear to anyone before their... More

From the outside, the Eldon is lovely, unfortunately one does not stay outside. As mentioned in another review, the construction is disconcerting - we were NOT warned of this situation in advance. It's little things that drive you crazy - 1) the remote that malfunctioned and wasn't replaced for 3 days, 2) alarm clock/radio with no directions but couldn't be... More

This is a new DC hotel that we stayed in overnight. It is within walkable distance of The Capital, the Mall, the Newseum, the Phillips Collection and many other DC attractions. It truly is a suite with a kitchen with full sized appliances, a huge marble bar with stools where you can eat. It has a living room with a... More

Okay, so you have to decide how big of a hotel snob you are. If you are looking for true luxury, look elsewhere. For us, it was a functional hotel with plenty of space, a decent kitchen, in a great location. It might be better named the Eldon Good Enough Suites, but there is nothing wrong with that. The bed... Arriving in the midst of a construction zone is not The Eldon's fault... but their capricious attitude about being woken up early to pounding outside your window, and easy dismissal of said inconvenience IS their fault. The power was cut to the building - they told us that (1) the elevator was on a back-up generator and it would work... More

After much research I decided on the Eldon because of its location to the landmarks as well as the amenities that the rooms had to offer. The price was a bit steep but so are the rest of the hotels in DC with less to offer. The kitchen was essential to saving some money on eating out. The breakfast at... More
