We saw bed bugs in multiple places in the hotel after one night and left. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM WITH THEM.

At the District Hotel, we do our best to make sure that all our rooms are clean and fit for sale. This includes conducting regular housekeeping inspections, and professional preventive maintenance and extermination services. We are constantly vigilant towards the comfort and satisfaction of our guests and we greatly appreciate any and all feedback. Thank you Management.

Know what you're getting...this is NOT a 3 or 4 star hotel. The rooms are tiny (no real points off here -- all I needed for this trip was a place to sleep, shower, and store my bag while I was exporing the city), but the hotel clearly hasn't had proper upkeep. Specifically: The upolstery in the lobby furniture is...

We stay in the hotel for 2 nights during the weekend. Location is really good, only a few blocks to the main attractions of Washington, such as the White House, the Monument, the Mall etc. Only the subway is some blocks away. The first room we get, was between the hotel entry and the reception! We changed it immediately, because...

Considering the price, it was surely satisfactory. Location is in walking distance to main attractions if you are at least a little bit keen on walking. It is basically a quiet, simple hotel. A simple breakfast is included; but it is in the reception area. However all in all, you get what you pay for but it is only a...

stayed here with my wife for a couple of nights. its the cheapest hotel you will find in the area, but it is close to dupont circle and downtown. The rooms are really really small, but it does have a powerful AC and its very quite. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms as well. The internet service is really...

The staff pays little attention to big details like air conditioner filters-alarm clocks-and most importantly wake up times- If you want to sleep past noon don't go. If you have a special request I would recommend the no stars in Virginia before the newly refurbished cheap hotel.

This hotel is terrible. It has bed bugs. After my experience to come across with bed bugs at the hotel; it has been three month they could not even refund my money for the nights I did not stay. I had to check out that same day. The General Manager Mr. Alan could not even speak with me and do...

The location is not bad, and the bagels at breakfast are pretty decent. Don't expect much more than that. My room was really small, the internet signal was poor and the elevator, guess what? Out of Service! Despite all this, I would still recomend it because it is the cheapest place you can get in DC relatively close to all...

This hotel was perfect for our weekend trip to D.C. 15 minutes walking distance to the White House and all other Museums and Monuments. The air conditioner was running when we entered the room, everything was very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly. You can make waffels in the hotel lobby for breakfast and a self-serve coffee and...

if you want somewhere cheap in great location and literally don't care about the state of the place, then this is perfect. but if you mind your room never being cleaned, having breakfast in the foyer on a couch, no fresh towels, clueless staff, loud noise from outside and from other rooms, filthy windows you can't see out of, room...
