Spent 3 nights here. Booked online but kick myself for not reading more reviews. When we arrived we entered though the basement and I thought I was in the wrong place. Every inch of the entire place is literally packed with "stuff". While it it interesting to explore 4 floors of clutter, after a while you begin to wonder what...

The Mansion on O Street is a very different kind of venue. I went for a concert and it was a great time. If you are the type of person to be easily overwhelmed, this is not the place for you. There is "stuff" everywhere. Some of it is worth a good look.... Signed guitars, interesting art, however, some of...

These are five adjoining houses. Many stairs, secret passages and so on. Bedrooms in many themed styles with some over the top bathrooms. Yes, all the decorations were for sale. Do see the chandeliers on the main level. A fun walk through I did not stay there or eat there.

I really wanted to put this behind me , but as time has passed I feel it necessary to place my honest feelings about this place. We booked 3 days prior to Thanksgiving 2014 and also booked their Thanksgiving lunch. We had asked for connecting rooms as we were travelling as a family of 5. We were helped up to...

With our themed rooms and secret doors we are a very unique property. Different from your ordinary hotel we provide a fun, engaging experience — not just an over night stay. That said, we know we won’t appeal to everyone. We would never charge for anything that has not been agreed upon in advance. Like every hotel we have check-in...

This is a must come to place if you have kids or just by yourself. I came for Sunday...

I had an opportunity to visit The Mansion on O St and I was so floored at how cool this hidden treasure is!!! It has had so many famous guest/visitors. I was just speechless. When you enter there just a "peacefulness" that takes over. At the time we were looking for a unique venue for a private party. This would...

I have not eaten here nor stayed here (the prices are quite high for a hotel), but it was a fantastic place to explore! On the firs visit we spent almost 2 hours and found 16 secret doors (although several are small access panels, and 3 of them had signs saying they were secret doors but not to open them)....

it has great quirky accommodations. The Lennon room, for example, has Julian's guitar in it and more. There are more than a dozen secret passage ways and rooms. The food is excellent and, well, ambiance is the best in all of DC.

This is a fun, unique place to visit. You need to make a reservation. In the DuPont Circle area and easy to get to. The mansion is full of memorabilia from notable people who stayed there. It is fun to visit the different rooms with some pretty amazing decor. There are also some 60 (maybe more) hidden doors which are...

We visited here mainly to walk through the mansion and take in various rooms and interesting décor. Some rooms were filled with rock-n-roll memorabilia that was of much interesting. They do offer brunch which is reportedly very good, but we did not experience. Definitely worth a visit - leave yourself a couple of hours to fully explore and appreciate the...
