We had a great time in Trinidad. Marilu, Carlos and the family always walked the extra mile to make us feel at home. We were travelling with our two daughters, 6 and 3, and they have a great time running up and down and being spoiled by Marilu. We are missing the breakfast in the terrace every morning, and the...

Very friendly hosts! My sister and I were traveling together, and had called the day before to see if they had space. We ended up arriving early and had a pleasant stay on the terrace while our room was being readied. It was spotless and had two very comfortable double beds. Breakfast was not included but was very tasty and...

Since Trinidad is so small everything is in walking distance from the casa. The room was really spacious and clean. The owners were nice and helpful and we felt comfortable during our stay. The balconies and terracesses are quiet and well maintained, you even get a view over parts of the city.

Marilu, her husband and son are great, very friendly and helpfull people. We've had a pleasant stay in Trinidad. Marilu arranged a salsaclass and a massage. The breakfast at the terrace is an excellent start of the day and the view on the rooftopterrace is wonderful.

We were welcomed with smiles from the minute we walked in the front door. This is a lovely place to stay. Very friendly owners and nice food. It is close to all of central Trinidad, just a short walk. Had a very comfortable room with our own bathroom , air conditioning and fan. Would definitely stay here again if visiting...

Stayed for 3 nights with Marilu & Carlos. Delightful local food, great company with generous hosts, and comfortable, clean, self contained room with private amenities. Air conditioned with ceiling fan. Thoroughly recommend. Located on the edge of the old city, close to nightlife- go to hear salsa music or a local private restaurant easily. Watch the local street life as...

We stayed here for 4 nights having been to another Casa which was a little further away from the centre of town and very noisy. Here we had the upstairs room by the breakfast terrace and it was very quiet and peaceful. No problem with dogs or getting in and out of the property as we had our own keys....

We stayed in in Hostal Marilu y Nelson for two nights. The location is good in a quite street. The room was big, clean and had a good standard, The roof terass was a added value and a good place for breakfast and dinner. The family was nice, friendly and service minded. A good alternative when visiting Trinidad.

Be careful when booking this casa: There are several rooms. Two of them are located outside the actual casa. As the access door is locked by the casa owner during the night, there is no way of leaving the casa, whatever happens (fire, medical emergency, ....) Very unsafe! The biggest problem however, is that the casa owner keeps pit bulls...
