We stayed here for 2 nights on our Honeymoon. Although their English was only slightly better than our Spanish our hosts were completely welcoming and helpful. Our room was nicely presented, with two double beds, a/c and ensuite. The most impressive part of the Casa was the three storey roof terrace, which has been landscaped in high quality paving and tiling. The views at the very top were great too, especially for sunset watching, and views across the town, mountains and sea.

Location wise, the Casa is on the edge of the town centre, so it is peaceful, but everything is a short walk away - Trinidad is not a large centre.

The highlight was the food - very well prepared, perfectly cooked, and certainly the best food we had in the Casas we stayed. A large number of courses for dinner meant we couldn't even eat the pudding!

Highly recommended.

We stayed 2-3 nights in this casa which was arranged by the owner of the casa we were staying in Cienfuegos but also included in the rough guide we had with us in Cuba. However, the name appears in my guide as Casa de Sobeida Rodriguez which is how her friend from Cienfuegos also called her and not Zobreida. Not sure which one is right.

Location wise it is excellent as it is just around the corner from the coach station and also in the center of the city.

The rooms (I think there are 2) offer privacy as they are on the upper floor while the family lives on the ground floor. They have en suite bathrooms with shower and a shared balcony. The cleanliness was excellent and the rooms were cool and equipped with air conditioning.

The owners were very good hosts and especially the husband who was very friendly and chatty. We had breakfast and dinner there and the food was tasty and in abundance.

The prices were reasonable and very good value for what we...
