Had an amazing welcome from Diane at Punga Lodge. So so friendly and provided an delicious afternoon tea. She had gone out of her way to arrange a surprise gift which our daughters had requested and also upgraded us as we were there for a special occasion. We had lovely breakfasts each morning and really enjoyed our break away. Thanks... More

A rustic environment with xtra kiwi hospitality from lovely Dyan, who goes the xtra mile. The room I shared with another mature person was not geared for two singles sharing the same tariff . The 2nd bed an added single had no electric blanket or bed light for reading as did the main bed, maybe they have a split bed... More

Stayed here over a long weekend recently with the Winter Getaway package that Sea Link was offering. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we go back to Waiheke Island. Dyan was a great host and made us feel like we were at our home away from home. She bakes every day and gives you fresh... More

My mother and I stayed here for only one night. I wish we could have stayed longer though! The hostess is superb! She was so friendly and so helpful. She drove us herself to the ferry in the morning, which allowed us to walk around town a bit. The afternoon tea was wonderful after having traveled all day! The breakfast... More

I stayed in the cottage for 4 nights at the end of May and thought I made an excellent choice. I had never been to Waiheke and it was the last weekend of my working holiday, so I wanted to relax a bit before flying back home. Dyan was extremely helpful in answering my questions when I called to book... More

Before we even arrived, Dyan was super helpful over the phone/email and made a great impression. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, with Dyan offering us tea and delicious cakes. I was traveling with my boyfriend and a friend - we had booked to share a room all together, however Dyan kindly offered our friend... More

The great service provided by Dyan began before we even arrived in Waiheke. I had booked online and Dyan was so informative on logistics and dinner recommendations by email. We arrived here after our long-haul from the US. Completely exhausted, Dyan was absolutely wonderful on getting us through that first day. She greeted us warmly from the ferry, and although... More

We just loved Waiheke island. Punga lodge is very well located - we walked everywhere! Dyan and Rob are excellent hosts. Very relaxing atmosphere. We would love to have stayed longer. Superb breakfasts and delightful afternoon tea with fresh-baked treats. Highly recommended.
