We stayed a couple of nights in late 2014. Very fond memories, and the owners couldnt have been more helpful. Dyan was most thorough with the information provided beforehand (ferrt etc) provided by mail. Nice walk into town and nice walks around the coast, further afield AA+++ Alistair and Lynn from Western Australia

We stayed in the punga lodge cottage which as it states is one of the older units/bach. Cleaniness couldve been a little more on point but worth the amount your paying as you are situated in a great location with only 3mins walk to beach/dairy/fishnchip shop and a pizza place located on beach. Bus stop 1mins walk from lodge and... More

Had a lovely time here. Dyan provided us with a fulfilling breakfast and homemade cakes and treats for afternoon tea. Dyan was very hospitable and was always happy to have a chat with us. Rooms were clean and king size bed super comfortable. Thanks Dyan and Rob for making our stay memorable. Gayle & Dion

The staff who ran the lodge were friendly and helpful and the animals who lived there were delightful not to mention entertaining. Room was cozy and just to our liking considering that we were out majority of the time. Location was... More

My fiancée and I spent one night on Waiheke island and had the most fantastic experience staying at Punga Lodge! The location was ideal, we were minutes walk from the beach and a short leisure stroll from restaurants and shops. Rooms were clean and comforting, we felt at home from the first instance. Had an amazing welcome at Punga Lodge. Incredibly friendly. Provided a delicious afternoon tea (with freshly made cakes & great coffee). Comfortable room and great bed, so a great night sleep. Lovely breakfast, highlight being freshly made warm apple and cinnamon muffins. Before breakfast we walked the few minutes to the bay, watched a pod of dolphins playing...amazing start to... More
