Innkeepers Jeanne and Carl welcome you to their lovely home with lots of great suggestions to tour the wine country. The B&B'a room are large quirky and comfy - our room had a huge claw foot tub in it. They provide an excellent hot or cold breakfast, including homemade honey! Located within 5 min drive from downtown Picton. Great place...

We had a lovely room in this b & b. Leading off our bedroom were two rooms, one with a toilet, shower and hand basin, and the second with a big jacuzzi bath plus two loungers. The views from our bedroom and the second bathroom were magnificent, overlooking a very lush but well kept garden (including beehives). The breakfasts were...

Our delightful hosts Jeanne and Carl provided all that we needed and more. The room was the most luxious and stylish place we have stayed on this holiday. I particularly liked the beautiful in-room bath, so tastfully done and inviting. There was a lovely walking path into Picton town . Great breakfast. Fabulous room - the most comfortable bed. Our...

We had a wonderful stay at the McCormick House, a lovely old home about a twenty minute walk from the heart of Picton. The owners, Jean and Carl were great hosts who offered exceptional service and excellent advice on things to do and travel in the area.

A lovely warm welcome. A really special room. A marvellous breakfast. Wonderful company - we were invited to join hosts and guests for a soiree. Very helpful hosts, a mine of local information. This B&B was every bit as luxurious as the luxury hotels we stayed in. I am tempted to extol the beauties of the room, but don't want...

We stayed 1 night before our 5 day walk on the Queens Charlotte track and 1 night after our walk. The property is lovely, with amazing attention to detail. Our room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful en suite. Our hosts were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble! The breakfast was delicious, including Jeanne's home made museli...

McCormick House is just outside the town. We only had one night there but really enjoyed the hospitality of Carl and Jeanne. There are only three rooms and we were the only ones staying. We loved the décor and comfort. We had a wander around their garden which is beautifully cared for. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast with their honey...

Picton is a sleepy little town even in High season. McCormick is a 20min walk from the town centre. We had a lovely stay in a homely atmosphere with the very attentive and knowledgeable owners seeing to our needs and helping with the sights and sounds.

We spent the first two nights of a 1-month New Zealand holiday in the Nikau Room at the McCormick house in mid-November. We loved everything about our stay: the decor, comfort, all the lovely small touches, beautiful garden, friendly kitty, delicious breakfast, and most of all hosts Jeanne and Carl. Our hosts not only provided good information for our trip,...

My husband and I visited Picton for a few days as we wanted to return to walk some more of the Queen Charlotte Track. It's a beautiful place surrounded by magnificent scenery. Our home for 3 days, McCormick House, was equally splendid. The owners, Jeanne and Carl, were very friendly and welcoming - really lovely people - who made our...
