I did not stay here but the hosts came to the rescue when I had a flat tire in the evening. Opening the door to a stranger, Steve let me use the phone and wifi to sort out accommodation, transport and insurance, and offered shelter and refreshments while I waited for the towtruck. The kindness and friendliness of the owners...

We were overlooking tree fern tree-tops, it was lovely. Comfortable and well-appointed accomodation. Friendly and helpful hosts. Good quality restaurants not available locally so either be prepared to travel to Havelock or self-cater.

Hands down a stunning retreat nestled in the trees like an adult tree house. Linda and her husband are the most gracious of hosts providing excellent and generous home cooked meals with personality to boot. A great hot tub awaits you along with comfortable rooms and modern showers and bathrooms.

We recently stayed at Tanglewood B&B April 4-6, 2016 and had a spectacular time. Tanglewood is located in Anakewa about 20 miles from Picton in Marlborough Sound. We took the ferry from Wellington to Picton, rented a car, and drove on a gorgeous and super windy road , Queen Charlotte Drive , to Tanglewood. Our unit has a living room,...

Steve and Linda are awesome hosts! We swapped travel stories and enjoyed their hospitality as though we were visiting with old friends. The accommodations are updated and comfortable. We stayed in one of the queen-bedded rooms over the garage. We found the accommodations to be very comfortable, clean, and secure. It was so relaxing to soak in the on-site hot...

Tanglewood is a beautiful location. Steve and Linda Hearns have an incredible gift of hospitality - they make you feel like friends and famiky. The views are outstanding from their deck. I would definetely return in the future.

I stayed here for two nights while kayaking in the Marlborough sounds. Steve and Linda are fantastic hosts - they are very friendly, have plenty of stories to share, and Linda is a wonderful cook. The rooms and beds are really nice, too, and the hot tub was much appreciated after long days of kayaking.

Linda and Steve are incredible hosts. From our first meeting until the last minute of our stay, they were there - helping with baggage, making sure we were comfortable and the meals ... indescribably delicious. Well situated for hiking and kayaking with a hot tub to soothe the body afterwards. They have thought of everything, even glow worms.

I came in via Blenheim and met up with friends. It is a beautiful B&B with luscious views and option of apartments or booking out an entire house "the shed", and pristine cleanliness and beautiful linen. The homecooked meals which Linda made in their little galley kitchen were enormous and delicious: e.g. homemade pancakes with cream and fruits alongside continental...

Our most expensive stay out of 20 stops in a 26 day trip of NZ, travelling as two couples. It's set up off the windy road that takes 20 mins to Picton ferry. We had booked an evening meal with Linda & Steve $50 so were expecting something special. I liked that they texted to say they had a big...
