After reading some of the other reviews I may have been slightly cautious. That showed me! Not everything you read on the internet is true and sometimes people just like to moan. When I arrived I was greeted by beautiful happy faces and stayed in a lovely clean room, in fact the whole hostel is overflowing with buckets of character....

Well it's clean but what was once 'funky' is now just old and tired. It's a rabbit warren of rooms and mismatch of everything but the 3 things I hold important Bed, shower and wifi were all lacking. The room and bed was small, uncomfortable and noisy, the shower was hopeless and couldn't get hot water and wifi was a...

I was just on a stopover and this place has a really friendly vibe about it which is great after such a long trip from Christchurch. We were upgraded due to a double booking which made things even better, so would recommend if going with a crew to pay extra, like I think $75 to stay there. Very cool. Dessert...

This colourful hostel with it's friendly staff makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. Warm and cozy, with included breakfast and desert. In the common room you find people reading and chilling out, and there is a movie room where you can enjoy shows with your new made friends. A lovely (and even cheap) place to stay for...

It was one of the nicest motel I've ever been to. Super friendly staff. I felt like home which I really needed at that point. And they even give you a free desert! Really nice and surprising. And surrounding of it is magical.

The place is funny, the kitchen is ok, the staff really welcoming, but I had such a terrible sleep with this kind of dorm which is actually just a big room with wood board used as walls to separate the dorms... Anyway, you are actually more than 20 is the room.. so you can hear a lot of different kind...

This hostel is by far the worst we've stayed in. There was a very "interesting" group of people staying and we did not feel comfortable at all during our stay. The actual building has potential but has a very eerie and dilapidated feel. Nearly all of the other rooms were empty while we were there and it was like something...

We enjoyed our stay in Atlantis, the staff is caring and welcoming. I appreciate the curtains for each bed in the dorms. No hot water after our late arrival w/ the last ferry of the day but i would stay there again if i could ! I really felt like I was at home :)
