Although no cooker, just a microwave, the small unit served us well. It was clean and well maintained and good value for the money. No sea view. A good base for walking round the town when all the day-trippers had left, the best time to see the charms of this place. We even saw a possum. The Frenchness is fake...

An excellent find! Very clean and well maintained! Location to the centre of Akaroa is great! Some kitchen facilities. Very quiet! A big room! Staff were able to give good advice. Laundry can be done on site!

A group of 6 of us recently stayed here, very handy to walk the shoreline, streets, shops and restaurants of this beautiful township. Our accommodation was roomy, clean, and contained many amenities, beds very comfortable and we all enjoyed our overnight stay.

customer service to be desired, nice enough room, power points not working, dish liquid seemed to be watered down, toiletries not replaced. A bit disappointing, and could be improved on especially for price.

We stayed here for 1 night. A little bit old fashioned but clean and tidy. Beds comfortable only a microwave no hob has a fridge. Very close to the shops and restaurants. Wifi not very good a bit hit and miss. Shower did not work properly, we informed the owner on our departure. I would recommend a short stay here...

Stayed 2 nights here in early November. Motel room was nice with kitchen area and jacuzzi tub in bathroom. Only 1 block walk to town wharf and many of the restaurants. Good value and great location. Our unit was a studio and 1 bedroom and larger units were available.

Stayed here for a couple of nights recovering from our jet lag. Place is very well located and with 2 good sized bedrooms and separate lounge it is ideal for families. Rooms were clean and the owners were friendly and helpful. At the time of our visit the wifi was not working properly but was due to be fixed shortly.

Great location, clean room. Rather expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at while touring the South Island. Poor internet supplied. Constantly having to re log in and only a small amount of data given each day
