We recently stayed at this beautiful house. Our room was very spacious and stylishly furnished. Our hosts are polite, friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend Oinako to anyone staying in Akaroa. Thank you so much. Louis and Linda Lincoln

Very well located a short distance walk from restaurants and Akaroa amenities. Nice rooms, in a lovely old building and very pleasant hosts. Helpful about local information. Why not 5 stars from us ? Breakfasts were good, but there was no choice, rather a fixed menu each morning. Our room had only one bedside table and two steps up to...

This is a beautiful historic building with much history. It's extremely well maintained and the rooms which we were able to see are large and very well appointed. Excellent bathrooms with great showers. It appears there are three rooms on the front of the house all with great views over the harbour. There is a large and extensive balcony with...

The house is immaculate and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and spacious and we managed to book the room with the harbour racing terrace which...

We were in Akaroa for a friends Wedding and stayed at the Oinako B&B. Our room was large with a lovely view of the bay. The Breakfasts were brilliant and varied each morning. Greg and Theresa went over and above with local advice and even a lift to our car the next day after the wedding. Very highly recommend! Would...

A spacious and comfortable bedroom in a stylishly historic house, with traditional furniture but with modern facilities, including a generously sized walk-in shower. The breakfasts were excellent and the hosts charming. Akaroa is a small township around a bay and harbour, with a French colonial influence to its original buildings in the centre. Multiple walks available and a number of...

This is an amazing house to stay in - it has been beautifully renovated and is spacious, clean and comfortable. Theresa and Greg were kind and helpful hosts. Theresa's breakfasts were imaginative, tasty and well-presented. Great, quiet location for exploring lovely Akaroa and the superb Banks Peninsula.
