Were recommended to visit Akaroa to chill out after 6 fairly hectic weeks in NZ, and Beaufort House was the perfect base. Our room, with its lovely balcony was most comfortable, the breakfasts and evening drinks and nibbles a great way to meet other guests. Good walks nearby and only a short walk down to the harbour and some excellent...

Thank you for your kind comments at the end of our summer season, snow on the Akaroa hilltop today so winter on it's way - we have had an amazing summer and Autumn this year. The grapes have been harvested since you were here ...and time to fly North :) Best wishes Sharon & Noel

Beaufort house is stunning, set back from a quiet road you can hardly believe this wonderful place is there, nestled in beautiful mature gardens. The weather was fine enough when we arrived to enjoy canapés and wine (Noel's grapes) on the lawn with the other guests - the food and the atmosphere were wonderful. We slept well in our beautiful...

This is a lovely period property that is a very pleasant B&B to stay at. Based in Akaroa it is in a lovely central location( easy walk to village). The owners are extremely kind and caring and a real pleasure to stay here. The rooms are neat in terms of size but living areas, dining and outdoors are all wonderful.
