Beaufort is a beautiful old house with lovely garden. Friendly hosts and comfortable bed! We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Akaroa is a charming and beautiful town. Hope to come back!

My wife and I fully appreciated the work that Sharon and Noel had done to make this a far superior B&B. They were both proud of their operation and enjoyed socializing with the guests to enhance the experience. They served a fantastic all included breakfast and in the afternoon served wine from their own vineyard with home made delicious appetizers....

Noel and Sharon really went out of their way to make us feel at home, were very generous with their time and not only provided excellent breakfasts, but lavish wine and cheese and canapés both evenings, free bicycles to use and entertaining insights into the Christchurch earthquake that they had endured and the many interesting things Noel had done in...

We had a couple of nights at Beaufort House for a bit of R and R following our wedding. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the canapes and wine in the evening were a lovely touch. The food for breakfast was superb.

The house is beautiful and is full of interesting pictures, furniture, antiques etc. It is close to the centre of the village for restaurants (walking distance)and there is off street parking. Free wifi is included. The bedrooms are a little on the small side compared to other similar standard B&Bs that we have stayed in NZ, although it does have...

My wife and I spent two nights at Beaufort House, a beautiful, antique-filled house with comfortable rooms and attractive indoor and outdoor common space. What makes the place truly special is the hosts, Sharon and Noel. They are charming, sophisticated, and well-traveled and do a great job not only of meeting their guests' needs, but of facilitating interaction among the...

What a beautiful house in which to stay in one of the most idyllic locations! Greeted at the front door with an elegant chalkboard carrying our names and those of our fellow guests - such a nice welcoming touch. We were welcomed with drinks and nibbles in the garden, as the evening sun set, talking with the owners and with...
