Jane is a wonderful hostess. Every detail has been thoughtfully included, from the delicious homemade biscuits to the amazing breakfasts. The most comfortable bed and pillows we have ever slept on and the decor is charming. The view is stunning and she has thought of all the little extras. She is very welcoming and on our departure gave us some...

Our second visit to L'Abri - we would never go anywhere else. Jane has created a special place to escape and unwind. We had complete privacy yet never felt we were confined to our room. Jane has a way of making you feel so 'at home' in her beautiful home. We were encouraged and felt very at ease to wander...

My stay with my significant other was such a thrilling experience for both of us I only wish I had more time to spend there. The accommodation was a luxurious treat while being an incredible value..This lovely home has what I'd call a world-class view of the harbor as well as the mountains with convenient access to the waterfront. Lovely...

I was here three years ago and thought it was wonderful but it has even got better if that is possible. Not only can one make tea and enjoy fabulous homemade biscuits (cookies) but also now make great cups of coffee in one's room. The breakfast is outstanding, the view spectacular and the hostess, Jane , knowledgeable about the area...

I rarely write reviews but after our stay a L' Abri, I felt compelled to do so. Jane, her property and the atmosphere she has created are world class. The diverse, peaceful, well nurtured gardens are an impressive achievement, the stunning views, the ideal location, just out of center. Great ! Super comfy bed, clean spacious bathroom and most impressive......

Jane Cook's property was exquisite. Her hospitality was unparalleled. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The views from her B&B were "to die for". The breakfast was outstanding. Although we were only able to stay for one night it was a lovely experience that we hope to repeat.

The cottage was simple and cosy and had everything we needed for a relaxing and restful Friday to Sunday. My wife and I both came away saying we know exactly where...

My wife and I spent two nights in the cottage, and could not fault the experience. The cottage is located away from the main house and is set in the garden with wisteria climbing across the porch which overlooks Takamatua Bay. Our hostess Jane ensured that all our needs were catered for and is a warm and welcoming person. The...
