My wife and I spent two nights in the cottage, and could not fault the experience. The cottage is located away from the main house and is set in the garden with wisteria climbing across the porch which overlooks Takamatua Bay. Our hostess Jane ensured that all our needs were catered for and is a warm and welcoming person. The...

This is a fabulous location overlooking the bay. The owner is undoubtedly a perfectionist and it shows! Everything was spotlessly clean, the rooms were superb, breakfast was scrummy with fresh free range eggs available and I did not feel crowded. I was allowed my privacy to enjoy Akaroa, a wonderful south island spot. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending...

We had all three rooms for the weekend to attend a wedding. Jane made us very welcome and we were very comfortable. We could relax and catch up, with stunning views of Akaroa Harbour. Loved the breakfast ... And the resident chooks and cats.
