The house is extremely well presented, caters comfortably for a large number of guests, provides stunning vista views of Akaroa, with a wonderful garden setting and is an overall awesome experience. Alison we thank you!! Family stay of 87 year old mother plus 4 other so called adults: 60 pluses as we celebrated our mothers life. The house was immaculately presented, well stocked and obviously well cared for. We cooked, partied and enjoyed the great views and comfort of this stately home in a great location. A treasure@

We stayed (bride and groom) in the apartment and my family stayed next door in the house. All of my dealings leading up to the wedding with Alison were great, she was super efficient answering my questions - some of them a little random! The apartment and house are both beautifully decorated and comfortable and it's only a short, very... More

We stayed at Akaroa House for a work trip in March, and felt so lucky to be in such nice surroundings. The house has been done up beautifully throughout, and each bedroom has its own special character. Great outdoor living and views, and Alison even had a wee welcome pack there with good coffee and some other yummies. Would definitely... More
