Chilli mussels done so well it was almost embarrassing the well-established so-called Italian restaurants on the Freo main strip. Chilli prawn pizza perfection and the fish and chips and the salad was also done perfectly. Excellent service also. Running a venue like this can't be easy but this place continues to hit the nail on the head. Great job management
Pleasant room, recently renovated in a central Freo location. Very nice common room for working or relaxing. Nice vibe for a drink, and food is quite good. Good all rounder. Bit noisy in the rooms until the pub closes, especially on weekends.
The Norfolk has changed, improved, is better - but with the same great Freo ambience. The extensive use of greenery is cool, and seems to gently separate the main drinking & eating areas. New furniture also adds to the overall betterment. A group of four for dinner - we were all impressed. The drinks list is far-reaching & the prices are 'just OK' for a pub. The food was very good. Strangely, there is no dessert menu or selection. Or Sambuca. All food & drink orders are made at the busy bar and then it becomes a 'serve yourself approach'; this make the wine mark-ups a little unrealistic. 'S OK tho'. A special shout-out to our waitress-doing-everything-lady, Katrina. She is a gem, and her never-ending smile & smooth ability certainly enhanced our time there. THANKS! Katrina. Overall, the night was very good - we'll all be back. …
The ambience is good here, could get a little rowdy when full. Long tables for groups. Half open air, but sheltered. Excellent local food. A taste sensation. The sardine dish is amazing as was the steak. You pay a bit more for the quality. Service was pretty slick.
A nice little place to unwind after the frenetic visit to the famous Indoor Market. A good selection of food and drinks, reasonably priced and good quality. There are quite a few other places to eat and drink close by but I do like the ambience of the Norfolk.
