As soon as I arrived here in Fremantle I came straight away here, this hostel has been suggested by some many friends that stayed here before me. The vibes and the people who work here are awesome, full of artists and people that like sharing beers and nice chats with you. Kitchen, bedroom and toilets always very clean, drier and washing machine very cheap. Well menaged and manteined. Also good for parties so come here no way to go anywhere else!

We stayed in a double room for one night here, just looking for a low-cost place to sleep. The staff was super accommodating, making sure we were taken care of at all times and helping us out when we needed to check out in the early hours of the morning. There was a wonderful community vibe with all the other guests, and we would've loved to spend more time there if we were staying longer in Fremantle. There are plenty enough toilets and showers and lots of open areas. Our room had a large enough bed for two people with the type of thin, lightweight mattress you'd expect from a backpackers. There was a large, powerful ceiling fan and a floor fan to keep us cool all night and a single power cord to charge appliances. The hostel is impressively secure, with guests needing a code both for the front entrance and a separate code for their room. We felt very safe staying there. It did get (and stay) a bit loud at night, even on a Tuesday. The fans helped muffle some of the noise, but there was a lot of yelling and loud music playing well past midnight. For this reason alone, we probably wouldn't stay again, but I'd still very much recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and friendly place to stay in Fremantle.

The hostel was conveniently located to the Fremantle train station and it was a short walk to the beach and the main town centre. The hostel was a bit quieter when I visited with many other guests being there for a longer stay so it was a little harder to make friends to go around with. I'm a little quieter and I wish there had been some organised events during my short stay where I could get to know other travellers. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The facilities were all very clean and well maintained. I enjoyed that there was a main kitchen on the 1st floor and a kitchen in the girls' dorm I stayed in also. Only few things that were a little annoying; there were two safes you could use to store your belongings in but neither of these were in the room which would have been preferable. Upon checking in, I also had to pay by cash, and pay a deposit for bedding and utensils which was unexpected. The deposit was refundable but I definitely did not have enough cash on me to cover the bill on arrival and has to use the cash machine in the hostel which charges a fee to use to get cash out. All in all however, a good hostel with great facilities and in a great location.
