Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for 6 nights during our holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very well situated for Fremantle itself, the Rottnest ferries and the train/bus station. Clean, spacious, modern apartment with great facilities- even a washing machine and dishwasher. There is also car parking available in an enclosed garage. We did have an outside space but it only was surrounded by the walls of the neighbouring buildings; similarly for the windows so no views onto anything really which was a shame. Still a brilliant place to stay though.

Beautiful secure 2 bed apartment. Fridge stocked complimentary 2 stubbies beer, 2 soft drinks, 2 waters. Chocolate wafer biscuits. Kitchen and modern laundry had supplies. Quiet. Balcony looking towards Fremantle Docks. Good beds. This would have been by far the best accom we had in Perth City, Mandurah and Margaret River. Highly recommend.
MUST dine at La Sosta, Italian. Decor, atmosphere, superb staff some authentic Italian. Excellence oh the flavours of the Octopus Entree plus the perfect creme brulee, crunchy toffee top and fresh berries in a wide ramekin. A MUST!!!!

Enjoyed staying at these apartments and would stay again if ever visiting Fremantle. Instructions sent for accessing the apartments are clear and concise.
Stayed in a one bedroom and had a great verandah which was big and private. The apartment has everything you need and appreciated the complimentary items in the fridge. If you don't have a car the supermarket is a distance away and needed to make a few trips.
Close to all the attractions on offer in Fremantle especially the harbour especially if you go to Rottnest Is.
Train station is a 5 minute walk and takes to straight into the city.

Apart from being clean and comfortable and in a great location, apartment 1a was definitely not ‘luxurious’ like the name states. Looking out onto a paved patio and scruffy balconies from neighbouring buildings, you would expect to pay less.
It was noisy with constant banging throughout the night from upstairs, the apartment next door who had their fire alarm go off late at night and talking in the hallway outside the room.
I cannot, however, fault the cleanliness of the room. Would recommend for a business trip, not leisure.

We stayed for 7 nights in apartment 4 and it was perfect for our needs. It was very handy with a short easy walk to the train station for trips to Perth, Victoria Quay for for our trip to Rottnest Island, the IGA for groceries or finding somewhere to eat. The unit was well appointed with appliances, and was very clean. The balcony was enclosed but large and private. I’d definitely recommend this apartment for a holiday if you want to be out and about.

On our return to Australia after 22 yrs and first time visiting WA, we stayed here for 3 nights. Beautiful apartment, luxurious indeed yet reasonable price. The apartment is very well equipped, the beddings are very homey. The rooms are spacious. We had great sleep. Love Freemantle, a much better choice than staying in Perth city. Has free parking and large balcony. Highly recommendable!

We stayed with my wife and our 3 daughters in the apartment number 7 for 4 days around Christmas.
Usually, we prefer booking rooms in top hotels but this time as nothing was available we decided to go for this apartment. I must say that we really enjoyed this choice. It was very confortable and very clean. It is well equiped and the decoration is quite nice for something that has to please everyone.
The apartment is located a few minutes away from the city centre, the restaurants, the harbour and the supermarket. You can easily decide if you want to go for food in a restaurant or simply stay at home and relax in the nice living room. That is very convenient when you have young kids that need to go bed early! The only weakness I would see is the view from the apartment. There is nothing interesting there but it is not noisy and the light is good.
We are usually very demanding and we like high quality stuffs. We were very happy with our stay there.

I struggled to find accomodation that we could share as two couples in Fremantle that wasn't a hotel, had a kitchen and looked central. I found it in these apartments! They were so central we felt like it was an 8 minute walk to everywhere! We parked the car and didn't move it for three days which was great. Car parking was secure also.
The second room was small , but had a large closet to store suitcases in. The apartment had great windows to open and get the ocean breeze, so no need to use the air conditioning even on 30+ degree days.
Added bonus was the free internet!

The apartment was large, modern and very clean and built in a new section behind a beautiful old facade. The free internet was fast and much appreciated. We stayed in #4 which was cheaper than the units higher up, but was value for money with a small area to sit outside, which I enjoyed with a cuppa and a book. The unit is close to the wharf, the station, the harbour side with its famous fish cafes and only a short 400 metre walk to Coles and the centre of town. We were able to walk to the wharf to catch the ferry to Rottnest Island. There are two markets on Friday to Sunday, one opposite the unit at the wharfs and one in town. The units are not serviced, but the owners are only a phone call away and very helpful with any problems. There were even free local calls. There is secure parking which is a bonus so close to the town centre but we found it hard to find the entry to the garage. We were sent instructions to find it, but a map would have been useful. Check this out before you get there.

Stayed 11 nights in a studio apartment 1A - would not recommend this appartment for more than 2-3 days. Go for a full 1 bedroom appartment instead - had a colleague stay in appartment 1 so I was able to compare them.
What was right:
Location very good for staying in centre of Fremantle - was close enough to everything but just far enough away to be quiet. There is a backpackers place a couple of doors down but heard absolutely no noise from it.
Secure parking under the building - once you find the entrance in the laneway at the rear.
What was wrong:
As I said I stayed 11 nights and had NO chnage of bedding or towels and the room was not serviced once. Fair enough they are not serviced appartments but most appartments you stay in have at least 1 service if you are staying more than 7 nights. Colleague had her appartment serviced but probably wishes she hadn't - the cleaner knocked over her toiletry/make up bag and didnt pick it up.
The studio appartment has only a microwave and 2 burner stove - not really adequate for doing much cooking - I think they expect you to eat out.
There is just a sink and no other area to place washed dishes onto so water goes all over the place - need to install a stainless steel bit next to the sink - also no dish rack to drain dishes.
The fridge was just a normal hotel bar fridge - not much room in freezer except for ice cube trays - also not much room to place many items in fridge section.
There was mould above the airconditoner in the dining/bedroom area.
Smoke alarm went off everytime you used toaster - not even coming close to burning the toast either.
There is no reception area or any persons at the apparments - you have to ring up the phone number to get a code to get into front door and then to get you room keys from a key box.
Whole buildings fire alarm went off twice during the stay - 2nd time at 5.30am and as I said above there is no reception so I ended letting the fire brigade in and then out into the carpark area. Apparently the airconditioners were setting off the thermal fire alarms in the carpark (both callouts for same problem) The firie started giving me a lecture about it until I told him I was just a guest!!
As the building is fairly old (heritage listed probably) you hear everyone coming and going up and down the stairs - very poor insulation between rooms.
Needed 3 separate keys to get into your room - front door key, 2nd level key and then your room key - what a pain in the...
Overall just an average stay - as I said I saw the 1 bedroom appartment and I would probaly give that 3.5 -4 stars but no more.
