Calamity of errors and issues.
No parking available (understandable) but when travelling on your own, there is no where to pull over and drop your suitcase off to find a park somewhere else.
My key didn't work, so then had to wait for about 15 mins whilst they checked in other guests to get my key recut, which they couldn't do on the spot, so one of the receptionists accompanied to my room. Walked in and there was someone's items in the room - clearly not my room!
Found an alternative room, which has a tiny window onto a central atrium - so definitely don't stay here if you want natural light in your room.
Was told I had a complimentary drink at the bar. Prosecco wasn't on the list, so paid for the drink. Was then told that it was warm and it choose something else, so ended up with a Pinot Grigio, which was on the complimentary list, but they couldn't refund my transaction.
Bed is comfy, hotel is in a good location for the action of Fremantle. Hopefully just teething problrms.

We had a large group in 3 rooms here. It was a nice hotel, but what really stood out was the management. It turns out if you want to use the sofa bed, you have to let them know in advance. However, they were happy to get sheets (quickly) and help us get everything we needed for our group. Breakfast included delicious, super-fresh breads and hand made jams, and the last little treat was wonderful shampoos and soaps - true hospitality. It's also very centrally located for restaurants and activities. I would highly recommend.

We stayed in New House where the rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is limited but included in the price. A free drink and a cheese board is served at the outdoor bar. All very nice and the location is unrivalled for all the action in town. The free use of Dutch style bicycles was a bonus.

Stayed for three nights pre cruise.
Very comfortable, smallish room, lighting was not so good, but the location and staff were excellemnt.
Just around the corner from many restaurants and a short walk to the Fremantle Markets. Close to Fremantle station.
Breakfast was really good, fresh orange juice, meusli, youghurt and berries, plus bread and the very best ever fruit loaf to be toasted. A selection of teas and two coffee machines - free local newspapers as well.
At night from 5 -6 free glass of wine or beer, plus cheese next door - a very nice way to start the evening.
Staff were very friendly, and informative, and we were able to wait in the breakfast/reception area after check-out, until it was time for our taxi.

This is the only place I'll stay when in Freemantle.
Great, friendly, helpful customer service . Our room is always spacious, clean and lovely and comes with a balcony.

Very disappointed with room, it stated room with balcony, but there wasn't a balcony. When asked about it, they said it was not booked even though all my emails stated room with balcony.

I am very sorry for the misunderstanding occurred, however "misleading" is not what we have done, anyway, as it is not our style. Your agent booked on a 3rd party portal (Booking.com) a New Haus room (22 sqm), and you have been upgraded for free to a New Haus Suite (32 sqm). Actually, we are not able to trace any correspondence regarding any of our Staff allocating your booking to be for a balcony room. I will be very pleased to assist you further if you could provide me the emails that you have sent/received, stating that your rooms was going to be with a balcony. As far as we are concerned we have provided a free upgrade, which we are sure you have enjoyed, being 10 sqm bigger than what your agent booked. I am not sure if you have reported the "smell" as at this stage we cannot detect any particular unpleasant odour. I will be pleased to assist you if you have any additional query. Breakfast is spot on for me …..granola, fruit, breads, conserves, juice and hot drinks. Fairly simple, but very good quality.
The hotel outdoor bar has a lovely atmosphere and the complimentary late afternoon drink with selection of cheeses is a very welcome treat.
Staff are friendly and attentive, and I like the small extra touches.

Just so handy to cafe strip and Cat bus stop 2. Room 30 is top floor overlooking Bannister street great location with balcony can be noisy on rubbish truck pickups 2am. Very clean plenty of room has a fridge but no microwave. We will return for sure next visit to Fremantle. Free blue Cat bus runs every 15 min from station on a circuit get off at stop 2 for this apartment about 50m walk only.

First of all Stephen remembered me from another hotel I had previously used for work so it was a delightfull familiar face to greet us with the warmest of welcomes and extra attentiveness.
Pretty outstanding quality of service to remember customers like that, felt like we were part of a VIP club!
So the hotel, I was told had been refurbished since Covid with the windows also being sound proofed so they haven't just changed a few cusions or curtains things have been well though out.
As a seasoned traveller for work and a preferred 5 star leisure traveller I was ready to critique what I thought of things, however I really couldn't fault a thing and pretty sure it has definitely raised the bar since what it was previous.
I could tell the attention to detail that has gone into the refurbishment, the decor and layout is presented well with practical furniture and quality fittings.
I particularly thought the toiletries were well selected too not just the average soapy smelling stuff but lovely jasmine products.
The beds were also a 10/10 for comfort with good linen.
The 2 tvs in our room (one in the bedroom) was great for us as two single friends lol, it just gave our stay a nice touch to be able to have a tv each.
We were given 2 key cards and advised it was so that we could keep have the aircon on when out which was amazing and perfect to return back to after a walk and a meal.
Parking was full but we were given alternative option to park at Collie st parking which was no hassle in the next street.
Overall this is a great little hotel that ticks alot of boxes especially if you need a convenient stay with friendly service, at a really affordable rate, nice clean rooms and an excelent location to everything.
Was perfect for us not wanting to pay top price to stay at Rottnest Island instead an overnight at Bannister 22 comfortably to enjoy the Freo vibe and an early ride over to Rottnest by ferry.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the New Haus. Every member of staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. The room was huge, very quiet and comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing, it was nice to be able to sit quietly after the hustle and bustle of the cruise we had just finished. The hotel location was perfect, just a few steps from restaurants, cafes, shops and all of the sights of Fremantle.
We will certainly stay again when we visit next and would not hesitate to recommend your hotel to anyone visiting.

We do not have an onsite restaurant, so our breakfast inclusive rates are in partnership with local restaurants. At the point of responding to this question our current breakfast option is with Benny's in Fremantle, a short 90m walk from the hotel.
