Wanted something local and affordable where locals would pay This place did not disappoint. This is part of a campground site with hostel. Went to restaurant and had a salad and pasta. Bill came out to 26 Swiss francs , which is a bargain in Switzerland and other places. Place was busy with tourists and locals. Had authentic Swiss atmosphere....

We camped at this wonderful campsite in Aug 2015. We are a family of 4 (kids aged 3 & 6). We have visited Lauterbrunnen a number of times, it is such an amazing place. Its a fantastic base for exploring the mountains, with some of the most enjoyable cycling and walking trails we've ever experienced. The views are spectacular and...

We pulled up on a Friday night around 730pm in Jan...The hotel was lit up magical, the restaurant and bar were inviting with lights and warmth as it was snowing outside. We checked in, went to the restaurant and had the nicest meal while being excited that we were in Switzerland. The excitement was never let down because the owners...

I stayed here in May 2015 for 3 nights with my boyfriend, we arrived late at night but were in time to see the sun going down in the most spectacular location. This was unlike any place I have stayed in before, it is breathtaking. The camp grounds are clean and pristine. We stayed in a private room with shared...

The campsite is easy to find and next to a beautiful lake. The staff are friendly and gave us good tips on where to go hiking. There is also a small shop if you want to buy basics like bread, firewood and beer.

Positives: Awesome views from the rooms, Great mini mart with almost everything you could ever need, great restaurant on the grounds that serves well priced food that is nice and hearty! Close to the train station to go up Jungfraujoch mountain. Negatives: Communal toilets and showers.

The location of this was by far the highlight of the stay! walk out onto the balcony and see snowy mountains, the valley, and waterfalls on either side. The rooms were nice enough, had a sink, mirror, and a desk with a power point, but the toilets were down the hall (wasn't too bad) and showers in the basement (which...

Outstanding views and a great location. It is a 15min walk into town, but if you let them know when you are arriving and departing they will run a courtesy bus for you for pick up and drop off at the train station. The caravan we stayed in had most things we required, a toaster would be a nice addition....

The location is amazing - wonderful views- Alpine scenery at its best, great hiking trails. We were also impressed by the organisation of cable cars etc. Camping has everything - including free wifi. It was quite busy but definitely worth staying there and was actually not a laud place. We can fully recommend it!
