We stayed in this hotel as we were at a concert over the bridge in Komarom on the Hungarian side of the Danube. We booked a suite which was very comfortable. Big lounge with leather suite, large bathroom and separate decent sized bedroom with large flat screen TV. When we arrived the hotel had left us a complimentary bowl of... More

Reception was nice and friendly and speaks quite good english. The staff in the restaurant/bar speaks hardly any english/german and (except for one shorthaired young lady) their service was below any acceptable level: for example, we asked for cold sparkling water but got warm tapwater in an open bottle and comments were answered with a shrug of the shoulders. Food... More

Although I was here first week of month July which was good experience but now the second time I am staying on top floor 2nd floor to be exact and outside it's 35-36C you need to have the AC always on otherwise the room gets hot in couple of minutes. The problem is that the AC is positioned directly facing... More

We stayed here for one night on a cycling trip. Our bikes were stored in the huge, underground, secure garage. It's not in a very petty area but is convenient for walking over the bridge into the old town. Service was variable in the restaurant - we two weren't allowed to sit at a table for four - but several... More

Can confirm good quality of furniture and comfortable room. Pretty good WiFi but not everywhere. Little beat dark colors but it depends on personal preferences. Perfect breakfast and service. As i understood from colleagues maybe the best option in Komarno.

On the Slovakian side of the Danube, on a small island in the river. Not too far from our bike route along the Danube., and with AC. Has a garage for our bicycles. Good restaurant. We ate dinner and breakfast.

We stayed here as part of a cycle tour. The hotel was booked by the tour operator. The hotel is just on the Slovakia side of the Danube, a few metres from the old customs offices. The outside pictures don't really show its true position. The rooms were reasonably equipped, although it seemed a little 'old school' to offer sachets... More

Are you in Hungary or Slovakia? Actually, you are over the river border - technically, Slovakia, but two steps from Hungary. A stop on our bike ride from Vienna to Budapest, our group spent a very pleasant night here, had a good dinner and a spectacular wine tasting arranged by the hotel.

We did not stay at the hotel but had dinner there, on the terrace. It was delicious, the price was reasonable and the waiter was very kind and helpful. The inside of the restaurant looks magnificent with clean and modern restrooms.
