the best hotel so far in the north of portugal! very clean, helpful staff and ponte de lima is a very nice place to relax! the breakfast was very good, wish i could stay longer there! i missed the monday market...
My husband and I stayed in this excellent hotel for the last few days before the hotel had to temporarily shut, in line with other hotels, due to the National Health Emergency in March 2020. It was a particularly stressful period for everyone but I have to say the staff were outstanding in their kind support and the help they offered to a small group of us remaining there while trying to get back home to various countries. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the food very good and plentiful and the reception staff offered every help with printing boarding passes & translating medical notes when needed. Nothing was too much trouble or any inconvenience no matter what time of day or night the request came. Our room was spacious, quiet, had a very comfortable huge bed (fabulous high quality sheets and best hotel pillows ever) plus our balcony overlooked the fabulous view of the river. I was most impressed with the order, compliance and calmness with which Portugal faced this National State of Emergency. You can learn a lot about a country at a time like this. I would definitely highly recommend this lovely hotel and use it again and I am looking forward greatly to going back for another visit to the beautiful Ponte de Lima as soon as we are able to do so.…
Single stay after a late night event. Very clean room overlooking the river, comfortable bed and amenities. Breakfast was good (I would only add the possibility to ask for an actual espresso, not the automatic machine type). This is an affordable and great option to stay near the town centre. Private parking available - also a very good feature.
We realy liked this small city and location of hotel looked great - until we went to sleep and could not .From the bar at the back of the hotel, where our rooms were, loud noices were coming all night. Receiption stuff was unfriendly. Rooms were clean and breakfast acceptable.
Ok it might not be the prettiest hotel but it was by far the best on our Portuguese Camino Clean bright rooms with balcony High thread count linen Fantastic location on river Great buffet breakfast Friendly staff River view rooms best and restaurant next door not so great but the town is beautiful!
