Absolutely charming! Kostas met us to show us the room and we followed him up the stone steps and cobbled ways, enormous ocean views to our right; tiny, intriguing alleyways, doors, churches to our left and came to Pablito House. "Stay here while I prepare the special lights", he said. We cooled our heels, then he called, "OK; come in...

What a superb place to stay, this property absolutely oozes history and has been so tastefully renovated, we were in the middle one of three, the room comprises of ancient stone walls and panelled ceiling with antique furniture complete with small kitchenette including fridge, king sized bed and air con and rounded off with a balconied area with stunning views...

A lovely place to stay so quite and relaxing. The double room is spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. Kostos the owner is a very lovely chap who cares so much about the renovation of the houses. Pablito house was where he grew up and he is very proud to tell all about it's renovation. This was a wonderfull...

Nice unique place to stay. Included a little kitchenette and lots of space to spread out. There was a small patio and lots of space in the room, and it was unique to be staying inside of a castle! Worth pulling your suitcases over the cobbled paths.

Lovely stay with fabulous view of the water. Very comfortable bed, enjoyed the kitties, lots and lots of them. Be sure to wear rubber soled shoes, as there it is all large rocks to walk on and a whole lot of walking, but just a lovely place to stay. Also, advised to NOT take heavy luggage, due to the amount...

we ended up in Pablito for one night as the place we wanted to visit was fully booked. The location of the house is really nice as it is on the side of the castle and a bit away from the busy monemvasia streets. We stayed in the double rooms which was ok but could be a bit claustrophobic if...

Staying at Pablito House is like going back in time, and staying in a "Hobbit" house. Located on the "Gibraltar of Greece," Monenvasia, a fortress island now connected to the mainland by a causeway. The Pablito House is inside the walls of the fortress, and guests must bring their luggage up the cobblestone path, since no cars can fit inside...

We stayed two nights in the Sofita accommodation. Whilst the room was not particularly large, what it lacked in space it made up for in character. Very tastefully decorated in an authentic kind of style, very in-keeping with the surroundings and atmosphere of the whole town. Very clean and we were provided with biscuits, jams and croissants in the room,...

Monemvasio is heavily reliant on tourists but the old town on the island is so well contained and restored that you don't feel it is too commercialised. Pablito House was a great choice and Kostas the manager was most helpful. There are lots of very invigorating walks to do - we went up to the ruins of the upper town...

Parking is not allowed within the walls. I suspect if you arrive early you might get parking close to the main entrance gates. Otherwise you can drop your bags off at the gate and go park along the road. It is a must a really wonderful experience.
