Not fond of large complexes and international chains, we took the gamble of testing this establishment for 4 days following a 10-day trip from northern Vietnam. Having taken 9 months in advance for our reservation we obtained an attractive price for a private villa with swimming pool. What can I say except that there is nothing to complain about. The staff works from morning to evening to maintain and clean this large complex, taking care to greet and smile at all the customers they come across. The main building is made up of rooms, the spa, fitness (tested and approved), a bar and 2-3 restaurants. We only experienced the breakfast buffet (Eur 20.- per person, our children aged 8 and 12 were not charged) and we have to admit that it is absolutely splendid, both the specialties Asian or the continental offering, everything is exquisite and available in quantity. As for the villa which was to be approx. 200 m2, considering the price (Eur 400 per night) it is completely at the expected level: very spacious, with air conditioning and lights everywhere, a huge living room, a large room for eating, reading etc., bedrooms (3 in total) on wooded floors with excellent bedding and bathrooms (3 + 1 WC only) the size of a tennis court with intelligent WC, indoor shower. and ext. and bathtubs. The highlight of course is the private swimming pool of approx. 8m by 3, overflowing, with a fountain to subtly feed it. There are 2 lounge areas on each side of it to relax in complete privacy and tranquility. Our villa no. 6 required (if we didn't order the golf cart) approx. 10m from beachside market to reach the main swimming pool (huge) and restaurants. In short, the Marriott proved to us that great does not always mean disappointing. A wonderful stay for us in all cases.

We stayed at the Marriott Da Nang, and the experience was generally satisfactory, although some aspects need to be improved.
The food, although correct, lacks some variety. There are many choices, but the options end up looking the same from one day to the next.
On the other hand, the infrastructure is impressive. The communal pool is huge and beautiful, and the Villa with private pool we had booked was really superb and spacious, a real haven of peace.
The beach, although pretty, lacks a bit of charm. She's pretty deserted, which may appeal to some, but she doesn't really have a soul.
However, some downsides marred our stay. The cleaning service was unsatisfactory: we had to make repeated requests to have our room cleaned, and this was not done until 5pm. In addition, an incident at the bar disappointed us: a waiter refused to serve us at 11 p.m., while the bar closed at midnight, claiming that he had to leave on time. Fortunately, the manager apologized the next day by offering us cocktails, but it remains disappointing, especially since it was my birthday night, and I received no special attention, unlike my previous experiences at Marriott hotels.
Despite these disappointments, I would like to take the time to thank Hanh from the Pension Assistance Department for his valuable assistance. I had forgotten an object that was particularly close to my heart in the Villa, and she arranged to send it back to me in another Vietnamese city, an hour by plane and six hours by car. It was a very satisfactory stay at the resort chosen for my father's 80th birthday trip with a large family. It is a sunrise spot and is a beautiful place from early morning. I will never understand it. I booked directly through the Marriott APP at a slightly higher price than through Ctrip. The booking included a 'Tropical Glam' package: 2 massages, 1hr free flow soft drinks/local beer as well as room upgrade and late check out subject to availability. It's not worth the extra charge. Although rooms in the higher category were still available for the duration of the stay during check-in (also on the hotel's own website), the upgrade was not granted because the hotel was supposedly fully booked. Only when we escalated and put pressure on them did they offer us a room in a better room category. The next morning we had another discussion at breakfast because we had booked without. Not true, of course. The location check out included in the package was also not granted. I wonder why I should book directly through Marriott when it's more expensive and I don't get preferential treatment compared to booking through a travel platform.
Overall only 3 stars because of poor customer orientation, the canteen atmosphere at breakfast, slightly buzzing air conditioning and the lack of maintenance of the pool area. The quality and selection of the breakfast should be emphasised, as well as the fact that you can always find a sun lounger by the pool/beach with sufficient distance to the next hotel guest. Room was clean and sufficiently good. There is nothing in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Under the summer package, daily spa for 2 persons is a great idea for relaxation. Although the bookings were quite full at Quan Spa, I managed to book the slots via emails earlier, and the staff have been really responsive and helpful.
While we understand another restaurant is under renovation, there's only one Madam Son restaurant is way too limited for a resort hotel. I expect Seafood grill or BBQ could be arranged besides the pool area, with a taste of Danang seafood.
As for the room, it's with good size of toilet with a bathtub and shower room. The bathtub with bath salt was great, although the drainage system malfunction quite often. Although engineering staff came quickly to our help, we'd prefer a more at-ease bathing experience with a smoother drainage.
As for the pool, we love the infinity pool as well as all the 5 pools and the proximity to the nice private beach.
The one hour free-flow drink under the summer package is a good gimmick to attract poolside swimmers, although we'd prefer to have more choices than just juice and beer.
Overall the water is clean in the pool, it would be great to have one more shower to rinse off sea water after going into the beach in the area. The towels are of good quality. Pool-side staff attendants are friendly and the beach was terrific, the sand was so soft!
Having said the above, the overall experience for us was good and refreshing; and we enjoyed the short stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Danang Marriott Resort & Spa! The location is unbeatable—right on a beautiful private beach with stunning ocean views. Our beachfront room was spacious, well-maintained, and had an amazing view that made waking up every morning a delight.
The resort has multiple restaurants and bars, offering plenty of dining options. The food was great, and the atmosphere in each spot was well thought out. The spa, though a bit dated since it’s an older property, was still a relaxing experience.

It’s truly a five star hotel . We stayed in a 3 bedrooms, private pool and ocean front villa with balcony for 6D5N. Rooms are spacious awesome view with sunset and sunrise. A welcome sign decoration on bed , a fruits platter at the living room , a Teddy bear decoration were made with towels welcoming from the time we walking the door and changed to elephant family every 2-3 days. Staffs are friendly and professional. Breakfast had a lot of selections. Foods were good. At the time we checked out , my niece forgot her dental retainer. The staff tried every effort to sent it to our next hotel that we stay . We definitely would recommend it to family and friends . Thanks to the entire staffs of Da Nang Marriott resort & spa.

Probably one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Starting with the negatives and they were minor: 1) the hotel resort is quiet and of eating in the restaurant at night there will not be much of an atmosphere. There is also no real entertainment or anything happening in the evenings. However most guests seemed to head out into Da Nang or Hanoi by Taxi in the evenings. 2) the location is a little out of the way of everything else and you’ll need to get taxis to and from wherever you are going but this isn’t a big deal really as they are readily available and pretty cheap.
Then onto the positives: 1) the staff couldn’t do enough for you and were absolutely fantastic. I didn’t think staff could make or break a hotel stay before staying here but they were sublime. 2) the room was a great size and probably bigger than a lot of flats I’ve been to in London. It had everything we needed and the staff even brought round a pre-dinner snack every night around 6pm. 3) the pool, pool bar and private beach area were incredible, I only wish there were a few more guests around to get a game of the beach football or beach volleyball that were set up. We did get a good game of tennis though and the gym also has everything you’ll need.
All in all this was a brilliant stay, there are a lot of hotels along this strip side by side to choose from and I would absolutely recommend the Marriott.

This excellent resort has all the facilities you want plus an outstanding, long, white sanded, clean beach with transparent waters with no seaweed, jelly fish or debris. The rooms are ample with beautiful views and ours had a small balcony. Staff is wonderful and breakfast out of this world at a very moderate price by Western standards. The resort has 2 restaurants but no other choices nearby, reachable by a 15 minute taxi ride.

We stayed for 4 nights. Location: We decided to pamper ourselves, pay a little more to stay along the beach. The hotel has direct beach access and rather private as there were few other hotels beside ours. The beach was nice and clean. The downside was that there were no shops outside the hotel, if you want to grab a massage/meal, you will need to take a taxi towards the main beach (Mi Ke beach).
Breakfast: Wide spread of food, with fresh juices.
Room: Large size, though a little dated. But you would expect this for such building. Bed was a little harder than expected.
Service: 5 star service by the staff everywhere. We booked an accommodation + massage package, which included daily 60 min massage😊.
The hotel has a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant, we ordered the set meal which was delicious.
Tip: Download the GRAB app, hailing street taxi can be hit or miss, and their meters could be fixed.
