You get what you pay for, and even a bit more. There's share bathroom and kitchen, but the rooms are big. The breakfast was surprisingly good. It's about 15 minuts walk to the Old City, and there's a lot to see on the road. Recommended!

On this trip I was looking to spend as little money as possible, so I was willing to put up with inconveniences. I was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean, the breakfast was decent, and the internet was amazing.

I stayed at the Guesthouse Jakob Lenz for one night in room 210. Location is spot on, based on a quiet side street, not far from the city enter and Riga old town. Breakfast was included and the guy on reception was friendly. Suited for budget travellers.

Ive stayed here for 6 months and those are my honest reviews about what happened througout my stay in here. Hotel is in a great location its very very close to the Old Town and I was quite happy with the location. BUT the attitude to the students are incredibly different than regular 'customers'. Kitchen supplies are very very old....

The manager of the guesthouse is absolutely rude, with no respect for costumers. She yelled at my friend for no reason. Unrespectful to students for sure! Lying about accomodation during personal inquiries. Their principle of work: pay, if you dont like it, then leave, but we won't give your money back. We talked to other guests here and they were also...

I sleeped at room 210 for 3 nights in December. Room 210 seems to be one of the nicer rooms, it´s made for 3 persons but we got it even though we only was 2 persons. I won´t repeat everything the other guest has commented, I agree in most of it, but one of the exceptions is the wifi. To...

I stayed at the Jacob Lenz Hotel while doing family business in Riga. The room was cozy and quiet. However, the bathroom wasn't the cleanest and smelled constantly of sewage. The breakfast was great. Nice variety of food and very consistent. The staff was very nice and helpful. Wifi was great all the time. I really liked the location. It...

The place was cheap, but I don't believe, I want to go back. Our room smelled bad, shared bathrooms and showers were filthy and we had trouble with our door. Still the service was very good, and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was also very good, basic and good. If you're looking for a place to stay for one night...

Stayed at the Hotel for one night at the end of July in room 210. Location was spot on, based on a quiet side street, not far from the city enter and old town. Room had enough space for my needs. WIFI worked perfectly and the internet speed was great. Included breakfast was a bonus for the price. The guy...

Guesthouse Jakob Lenz is right in the heart of the Art Nouveau District. The hotel is clean and the staff is welcoming and helpful. Additionally, you are an easy walk through parks to Old Town Riga. Parking is available as well. Definitely worth the look if staying on a budget while near the heart is things if important
