We were lucky enough to spend three nights at this sensational hotel. Our apartment room, on the first floor, was directly above the hotel entrance, and looked out on to the Dom, Riga's historical Lutheran Cathedral, opposite.

Yes, it’s in the middle of the historic quarter, but on a quiet sidestreet. There are a few bars about 50 metres to the right (opposite the cathedral) but none to the left (and not many hotels either) there won’t be groups... More
Yes, it’s in the middle of the historic quarter, but on a quiet sidestreet. There are a few bars about 50 metres to the right (opposite the cathedral) but none to the left (and not many hotels either) there won’t be groups coming through the street. Although we were not there in summer, I’d say it’s quiet enough. It’s not the sort of hotel to attract a loud/rowdy crowd (like a British stag party) either.
