I recently spent 4 night at Hotel Imperial in Tallinn. The location of the hotel is great and it is easy to find. The location is one of the best features of the hotel, in my opinion. From the outside, it looks a bit dated and worn. It used to have a pub on the first floor, that is now...

Just love the ambience, a beautiful sunny room, small but all you could want. Close to the town hall square, visitors centre, and absolutely everything in Olde Tallinn. Loved it. You can spend a day just wandering through the cobblestone streets, each one delivering an amazing sight. The hotel provides a great breakfast and the staff are certainly conservative but also...

Nice hotel in a great location in Tallinn, a 5 minute walk to the town square and close to restaurants, bars, museums etc. The room was comfortable but not luxurious and although the staff were helpful they all seemed a little sad. The decor of the hotel was cute and the wifi good. Breakfast was quite nice- lovely breads and...

Fabulous hotel, only a 10Euro taxi ride for the airport (5min walk form train station), ideally located for walking access all around the beautiful old town of Tallin. Ten of us made a group booking, all the rooms were 'just fine and dandy' (see pics), although my tip would be to ask for room not facing the main entrance (the...

Hotel rooms were fairly average, pleasant but not luxury. Hotel itself is quite cute and has nice but again very standard decor. I enjoyed the breakfast at this hotel, however it was very quiet and I feel like it would be better suited for people on business trips as opposed to families.

I was looking for a hotel with a traditional feel but of good modern quality close to the Old Town to stay with business clients. A lot of the hotel prices in this type of location have more expensive prices. The Baltic Imperial offers a good standard of accommodation, well priced and impressive enough with character to impress my guests....

Warm, cosy hotel. Clean, comfortable room.Good choice of options for breakfast. At the foot of Toompea and five minutes' walk from the town hall square and the rest of the Old Town. Only five minutes' walk, also, from Balti Station. Easily accessible by bus, tram or taxi.

I stayed for one night in this beautifull renovated hotel. This hotel maintains very high standards for the price it charges. The breakfast had a lot to choose from and is continuously refilled by friendly staff. The hotel is in the center of the old city and everything is walking distance.

An old house made to hotel with 47 rooms. All sights of Old Town are within walking distance. During my visit the restaurant was under construction. However, very good buffet breakfast was served. My room was pretty small but in good shape. Both room and bathroom with shower were very clean. Bed was comfortable and WiFi strenght was good. Hotel...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel building is from 1877. It was erected against the city wall which is a late phenomenon in historical tradition. In the contemporary organization of the city it was strategically important from the perspective of protecting the city to leave a free space between the city wall and the buildings. The first data about the dwellings being built against the city wall states 17th century when the city wall started to lose its strategic importance over the bastions. No extensive reconstruction has been done in the building, but throughout times an attempt has been made to preserve everything historically valuable. On the second half of the 19th century, the building was owned by family von Stackelbergs. ... more   less
