Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Estonian. The staff is incredibly helpful, the place is clean, the price is very affordable and they make you feel at home. Loved the all around atmosphere and met a lot of cool people. The beer is cheap and cold. All together I have no complaints, thanks for letting us stay at the Red Emperor!

Super nice (and helpful) staff, super clean rooms, and a cool bar—pretty much everything I want in a hostel. Location is also perfect, right next to Old Town. I've rarely had a better hostel experience, and I would come back here in a heartbeat. Thanks, guys.

Stumbled across this place to meet with some friends for a drink and it was actually a pretty cool little spot. Caters to a younger crowd, but fun for meeting new people and having some drinks! They have many fun games as well.

This is not the luxury place to stay and when you go to hostel or the bar you already know that. They organize karaoke evenings on mondays and on weekends you can enjoy some live rock performances. The place tends to become noisy when there is a good rock band playing. Prices are fair.

I kind of missed the social aspect that I really enjoyed in other hostels. Stuff and fellow travelers were all doing their own thing. Price is above average but in my opinion not really worth it. In general it was alright but nothing special. If you're going there to Tallinn to get drunk I bet you will have a good... More

I've stayed in the Red emperor with a friend for 3 nights and I highly recommend it. The dorms are big and the beds are good. You get free towels and the showers are big and warm. The people who work here are really friendly and will help you with if you have any questions. Fun happy hours and you're... More

We had a great time at the bar. The prices are reasonable, great music, fun atmosphere, plenty of games and activities. The service was prompt and courteous. I would absolutely recommend this bar to anyone looking for a vibe. Be sure to arrive there after 9, otherwise it's pretty dead there.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. We opted for the 4 bed dorm for our one night stay in Tallinn. It's about 15 minutes walking distance from the LindaLine ferry terminal. Just head to the direction of the old town but walk along the park. The people at the reception was very friendly. The room we were placed in was clean... More

First of all you could not ask for a better location. The hostel is in the beautiful Old Town right around the corner from all Tallinn's top attractions and conveniently around good public transportation spots. To get in you have to use a buzzer or doorbell which adds to the security. Reception is open day and night and staff is... More
