We have been in a wedding, so after the not so thirsty night we just wanted to take a nap. It was perfect for one day resting, no strong noises, no vacuum cleaning. We skipped the breakfast and the spa also, so I cannot say anything about that. Visegrad gastronomy is a bit boring, good to have a car and... More

Myself my partner and daughter did a 2 week trip around Europe. We stayed for 2 nights last week at hotel Honti and we found this place a little gem. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. He provided us with a local map to do all the sight seeing and told us a little bit of history about the... More

A fabulous hotel. We visited with a small baby. The very nice receptionist changed our room so we could be on the ground floor with our own parking so it was easier for us. Rooms were well equipped and clean. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. All the staff were polite. Pool area was great especially the indoor pool.... More

Cosy hotel with good spa facilities. We came here in off-season so it was even nicer cos it wasn't busy...neither in the hotel nor in Visegrad and the surroundings. The spa is nice, small sauna, really nice jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool. You can also rent bicycles, and play table tennis. Staff is very friendly. The only annoying thing was... More

We had the last room available (weekend) which was in a cute cottage as the annexe. It was small but provided everything we needed, including (unexpectedly) a kitchen. Breakfast was plentiful and the hour-long massage extremely good after a long bike-ride.

The swimming pools and spa are great. The people are friendly. The apartments are spacious and the beds are ok. The breakfast provided is good. However the apartments are dated, the bedlinen and doonas require replacement, the cooking facilitates are one plate and a microwave. The hot water service doesn't work properly and the shower curtain is a debacle. The... More

This is a very good standard hotel room, no large but with adequate facilities. It has outstanding swimming pool/spa facilities. The staff are competent and the breakfast offerings very good. It is a 200 metre walk from the main bus stop for buses from Budapest. The rooms are quiet.

We slept at the pension, which was clean and quiet. The balcony was really good, big and with a nice view, so I would recommend you to get a room at the top floor, not ground floor. A good stay for someone who wants a decent room but no extras. The breakfast was ok and the staff spoke English.

My husband, son and I stayed in a triple room for one night in mid-July 2010. We paid c£60, which included a buffet breakfast. Although we'd booked well in advance, and had discussed the merits of various room types (in the hotel and its neighbouring pension) with the management by email, we were given an attic room, with two skylight... Last year we had our wedding in Visegrád and many of our guests stayed in Hotel/Pension Honti. Sepcialy the pension is a very cute separate hous with eight small but very nice rooms. The owners speak German and some English and are very helpful. Not expensive at al, we recommend this hotel/pension highly when you're in the Visegrád neighbourhood. ----/
