This hotel has a marvelous old world feel. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, although the bathroom could use some updating. There is a good restaurant with a very nice terrace. A fine to-order breakfast is served. Staff are most helpful.

Stayed here with my girlfriend, we booked 2 attic rooms in advance. The price was excellent, very affordable. Good hotel for those travelling on a budget. We had a lovely evening meal in the hotel restaurant, breakfast was more basic. Nice location in the main street, close to the river Danube.

I have visited the hotel with my family who already wrote a review. I don't usually write reviews, but I will make an exception this time since I can't believe the hostility of the hotel manager in the previous review to: 1. Write a review on his own hotel 2. Rate his own hotel as if a genuine traveller's experience...

We booked an attic rooms assuming we'll get simple rooms for a fair price. What we got is hardly can be called a room, it was so tiny - the size of a small double bed and hardly can open the door. There was no room at all to open the suitcase (only on the bed or outside the room)....

Compared to other rooms we had it was much smaller, surely not matching the pictures on the web. After long duscussion on...

I have said very good and I want to explain that. The truth is that the staff here make this place. Everyone we spoke to and dealt with couldn't have been more helpful. We are in the restaurant attached and the food was very good Hungarian traditional food. Decent portions and tasty. Breakfast the same. Not fine dining but that...

You can hear all noises from outside and from neighbor rooms, the smell from kitchen is all over in hall and in the room. The food was decent, but the beef in a la carte menu, was a little bit chewy. Young and enthusiast staff, they will learn to make things better.

The staff in this hotel is really friendly and breakfast is good. They will make you all kinds of great omelets. We ate here the first night. Decent food. What we didn't liked about this hotel was the rest: you can litteraly hear what people say outside the hotel (like our window was open, which wasn't), the room was a...

Typical small Hungarian hotel. Comfortable, safe, good food, nice staff, but minimum everything. I've been in the region for 4 years, so I'm used to these minimal, affordable places, and can't complain much. As the days wore on though, it just got less and less impressive. If you're not a budget traveller and expect more, you're going to hate it....

“We got the last room: an atic, up some wonderfully rickety stairs: despite the hot summer there was a fan and that was sufficient to sleep like a log. We were facing the main road but it wasn't busy or noisy. Great views from up there, too!”
