Stayed in the hotel as part of a Rick Steves tour, room #3. Hotel is in a very good location and breakfast is adequate. I use a Kindle for WiFi and it worked fine in the hotel. If you want to use the AC need to get the remote from the front desk. Room had a nice view of the...

Recently stayed one night at the Offi House. The location is great, just off the main square and right below the castle. The rooms are clean, the furniture a bit drab and dated. The wifi is free and worked well in the room. The breakfast buffet had limited variety (as you might expect with hotel with just 5 rooms) and...

We travelled recently to Eger to spend a long weekend there. Being there for 2 nights with full board (Dinner on arrival day, Brakefast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, Breakfast on departure day) all in all we were able to collect very positive impressions. The City is a nice place to be, even if its not recommandable to plan a...

This is a small, family run hotel. If you're looking for 5* you'll be disappointed. However, we found it charming. 3 of the rooms overlook the town square (choose rooms 3, 4, or 5, I think). The other two rooms have less good views. Breakfast sitting outside on the cobbled square was wonderful. Eger is a lovely town and well...

We fall in love with the atmosphere of this cute historical city, Eger. In the heart of the city we found this cute, family run hotel a few years ago. We had some great meals on their terrace when we discovered that they have five nice rooms upstairs. They offered it on competitive price including breakfast, and half or full...

This hotel's location in Eger could not be more perfect...right smack dab in the little city square adjacent to good dining and wine bars. All it needs is a little upgrading to the furnishings and floor coverings of the rooms and it would be a gem. However, when you consider the location, the room size, the fair rate, AND the...

Eger is a lovely town and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Offi House/Haz. It is on the corner of the main square, with lovely views from some of the rooms, and the restaurant serves hearty portions of Hungarian food on the terrace. On one evening, there was even live music (but only until about 9pm so it wasn't a...

Eger is a tourist town and the hotels and sites are staffed and enjoyed accordingly. This hotel has a wonderful location just off the main square just below the Castle. You would be hard pressed to find a better location. However there is little else to recommend about this hotel. Rooms are clean but nothing special. Shower was tiny (if...

We stayed here for a night as an excursion from Budapest. The staff couldn't have been nicer or friendlier. Eger is a beautiful village and Offi house it at the center of it, right off the corner of the main square. Couldn't ask for a better location. This is a quiet town; things shut down fairly early, which made for...

We enjoyed staying here when we were in Eger. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are a decent size, clean and pretty nice. The location was great. We arrived pretty early in the morning and they cleaned our room as we had breakfast.. which was very nice.
