I agree with another reviewer, you only get what u pay for, one would expect at least a clean bed and room, we were met at the door with a three foot high pile of the local restaurants black bin bags of rubbish right outside the downstairs front door, there is graffiti all around the door, we were taken inside...

Positive: - Perfect location - nice little common kitchen - spacious room with big closet - nice shower unit, looks new - humble price - fast and free WiFi Negative: - There is no cleaning service. We've stayed there for 4 days and it was okay, but might be a problem for those staying longer - No place to leave...

We stayed in this hotel few days ago it was last second booking just 30 minutes before arrival. Less than 30 euro for stay in central location 3 star guest house its bargain but not in this case. We never complain as we don’t expect luxury for this amount of money – at least clean bed and bathroom but not...

We strongly advise against this hotel. The only advantage is its location - right in the center of the city - everything is close. Rooms very dirty, with mold on the walls. Bathroom very small and very unpleasant - dirty and destroyed. For the same price you can find many other quality hotels.

It was not so bad as the other reviews stated if you also look at the price. For 20 euro a night it's a very good price/quality ratio. Basic conditions, but i think it's ideal for a city break or if you go to a concert. Private bathroom for each room, 24h reception, free wireless internet., free parking during the...

The hotel (if you can call it an hotel) at least is not a three stars. The beds are very small and unconfortable, and, if you are luky, you'll find something working (plug to lamp). Whatever you do, you will ear strange noise as something is breaking. The bathroom is bad and the toilette can flush only every 15 minutes....

Run from there, I Runed! Why?! I Tell You Why! Doors and windows were unlockable, The bed sheet was a single one on a single bed so I would slept on a dirty mattress. There was no electricity in the bathroom, the toilet box recharged in about 15 minutes, and motor noise as something from hell... towels were actually broken...

Great little bed and breakfast hotel! Five minutes walk from Deak Ter metro, and on bus and tram routes, getting around Budapest from here could not be easier. Subway and Pizza Hut and local restaurants/bars handy. Address given as second floor but is really third if you are walking up the stairs! Using the lift it is 2. There are...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
