My wife booked this hotel, and it was a great choice! Cool room with an amazing view, and the service from the friendly/helpful staff was brilliant! It was a short walk to the Castle/St Matias church, and crossing the bridge means you're in central Pest...More
We got a very good deal by an early booking.......including breakfast.......which was good because there are few cafes around the hotel.
I cannot understand why anyone says this is a poor location......the Buda side, 3 minutes walk to the castle hill funicular, 4 mins to...More
Our first visit to Budapest was made really special by the fantastic staff at Lanchid 19. The river view rooms offered spectacular views of the Chain Bridge and the Parliament building. The city's main attractions are all within a short, inexpensive taxi journey. The hotel...More
We arrived here after what has been some major construction and the roads are nicely done, the room was nice clean and comfortable, however their front outside lights change every 2/3 seconds and you cant dim them or turn them off. I agree that the...More
Miserable room, hideous bar and indifferent service makes this one to avoid. The whole experience is rather cynical. The view of the bridge is good but please don't believe the hotel's web site. This isn't stylish or well located.
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many
events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
