I stayed here for one night only before beginning a tour the next day. Whilst my time here ws limited I felt that it represented pretty good value for money. I paid approx $6 extra for a double "suite", and it was rather large by European standards! Separate bathroom and breakout area. The lobby was good for a drink and...

We did not have a great experience at the Regency Suites in Budapest. To start with a positive, it was located nicely to walk to many attractions and areas to be seen, as well as the waterfront promenade with all its many restaurants and "Illuminations" at night. And the front desk staff did her best (only one person seen working...

A generally pleasant stay. The location was convenient for a sightseeing base. Large one bedroom suite had enough room for 3 adults. The provided amenities were entirely adequate. Budapest was unseasonably cold at this time, but the suite climate was always comfortable. Staff was cheerful and eager too assist. However we felt there was a notable lack of experience in...

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in early May, 2013. Everything from the service, room size, location, and breakfast buffet was excellent. It was well worth the price--and value for your money. My only complaint was the room was missing an extra pillow. haha.

Hotel is located in central area of Budapest, very convenient for city tour. Rooms are large and is very good deal for families with 2-3 kids. If you are with car, there is public parking, always have space, but take care, it is paid, you need to pay with coins, or to send SMS.

Well, cant complain, the rooms were fine and location of hotel great. Staff lovely except for the girl on reception with a dimple on her chin, the most sour-faced jumped up little missy I have ever had the displeasure of meeting!! Air-con in our room was not working which we mentioned to her, she proceeded to have a go at...

This hotel claims to be an all-suite hotel. Unless one considers a closet sized room with a smaller en suite bathroom a "suite," then the hotel's claims are inaccurate. Other than that, the hotel lacks basic amenities one would expect even in a three-star property, e.g., coffee/tea making facilities, valet, and a decent sized TV. Another disappointment was the lack...

A very straighforward hotel. As far as I could see all the rooms are suites with a good sized bedroom, bathroom/shower and a lounge with a small kitchen area with kettle, fridge and microwave. The rooms are clean and have all the basics. There are two TVs, one in the lounge area and one in the bedroom. There is a...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
