I have wonderful impression of BUD, because the hotel is the fabulous beginning. The all suite hotel is local 5 star hotel. But the price is not very high. The location is very good. Near the hotel there are a lot of exchange currency shops and different cuisine restaurants and supermakets and bus stops and metro stations. The hotel is...

My 22 year old daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights a couple of weeks ago. The first impression is lovely - large, bright reception area with friendly staff. Our room was clean on our arrival (if a little dated) - we had a smallish double bedroom with a large sitting room/open plan kitchen area and a small bathroom...

Stayed as part of a group of 6 people in December 2016. Pleasantly surprised at the rooms. Very big, lounge, kitchen area, balcony, big bedroom with huge bed, bathroom with shower and full bath. Air conditioned, good heating if you need it, fridge, cooker even a washing machine and dishwasher. Mini bar (though we didn't use it) was not over-priced....

The hotel staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. The breakfast wasn't the best quality and was over priced. This was definitely in a good location close to the metro and a short walk to some nice restaurants and bars. The wifi stopped working for a day, due to technical issues but resumed the following morning which was a...

We booked three small apartments [dble bed, bathroom, lounge area with small kitchen] for a three day stay. Very good value, clean, courteous & helpful staff. 15-20 min walk to Danube, numerous bars & small restaurants nearby. Bar is in the contiguous Chess restaurant where we had a couple of lunches & 1 breakfast.

I try and make all my reviews a fair reflection of my stay. This hotel is poor but let's start with the few positives. Location is good, bed comfy, and nice & quiet, that's it. However, the staff are surly, miserable and not helpful, no working internet, the breakfast was quite simply disgusting (we had to eat breakfast out), room...

Booked for family of three for three night visit in November. Room was great - loads of space, amazingly comfortable bed and great in room facilities including snacks and drinks in the fridge (payable at check out). Hotel is well placed if, like us, you don't mind walking - 25 minutes down to the Danube so most of the city...

We've just returned from a few days in budapest and stayed at the Queens Court Hotel. The hotel overall was lovely and clean. Staff were very polite which is more than I can say for the rest of the hungarian population! Even though I couldn't use the jacuzzi as I am pregnant it looked lovely and many people said it...

Not a bad place to stay with spacious studios and kitchens that come in handy when on a budget. Quiet and centrally located near restaurants, ATMs, grocery store and subway/tram stops. We only ate breakfast there on one occasion and it was just okay for the price. To save money purchase your bottled water, soda etc., down the street right...

Nice and clean and comfortable. Hotel is a bit of a walk from the river but plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Room was in fact what the Americans call an efficiency or an English studio apartment...kitchenette, bathroom etc. Shower oddly positioned so that it squirted water all over the floor. Room overlooking the courtroom. Somehow the noise...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
