A great historic and authentically renovated building, right in the city center. Comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms. Quiet and cosy :) The atmoshpere is great to be here, if it is in the rooms, or in the breakfast lounge or in the bar area. The piano man makes your stay a great experience. Welcome to Budapest!

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights from 10th to 12th December 2014 travelling as a couple. We stayed in a Classic King room. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas both inside and out. We used Airport Shuttle to take us from the airport to the hotel and back again and I have to say they were extremely...

You get the feeling in this excellent hotel that if it was located in another city but Budapest then it would cost a lot more. As it is, it represents excellent value and feels like something rather special. Great welcome at the front desk on check-in. Many hotels just don't seem to realise how important the first impression is but...

We stayed at this hotel in January for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and it was perfect ! The hotel was beautiful and in a central location. All the staff were all attentive and couldn't do enough to help you. There was a huge selection for breakfast and the room that we stayed in was very spacious and quiet too. The...

I spent two nights here with my Mum, who I was treating for her birthday. I was undecided as to whether to stay on the Buda or the Pest side, the fact that this was an Autograph hotel swung it for me. The official hotel photos are always stunning, and it is often a disappointment when you actually arrive, however...

The boscolo is a great looking 5 star hotel. We checked in for three nights but the room given had no water coming out from the bath so we were upgraded to a room on the fifth floor which was really nice. This room was 3 times the size of the standard room which was really quite poky. Breakfast was...

We have stayed in this hotel for two nights in January and it was great experience. The rooms, the services, the staff, the food, everything was just perfect! I especially enjoyed the breakfast in New York Cafe. Also the location of the hotel is very good, close to all the important landmarks. Definitely one of the best hotels in Europe.

The 5* hotel is a historical building with an unforgettable, remarkable atrium-like hall and astonishingly decorated restaurant room. It has a central location, walking distance to plenty restaurants. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Breakfasts are rather standard - everything you'd expect but nothing extra. The room is OK, although for a 5* I'd expect to get bottled mineral...

A 5* dining room does not make a 5* hotel. From the minute we arrived to when we left the staff were unhelpful and bordering on rude. The building is awash with tourists so staff treat everyone like a tourist off the street as opposed to a guest. Don't waste your money, stay in a real 5* and by all...

An absolutely superb hotel! From the moment you enter the lobby, you will love your stay. The reservation staff is very attentive to your every need, the service is impeccable, and the decor is gorgeous. Add in the New York Cafe, a landmark destination in Budapest, and you are in heaven. We booked a suite and have no regrets whatsoever....

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
